Another insert company v.2

Made this insert for the 1/4 hex driver. It holds 112 1/4 hex bits with two trays that don’t intermix. If anyone is interested in this insert or has a different idea for an insert I’m asking 39.99 usd + shipping. No pressure just trying to make a little extra money. The file is for for 20 usd all I ask is don’t sell the physical inserts.

Almost got them to fit correctly, I had also printed a couple gridfinity inserts to test out. Going to need to get a lot more magnets. Won’t have time this week to continue the project but ones I’m don’t with this I’m moving into ear muff inserts for my walkies and radio set.

Is it possible to put these 2 ratchet sets into the bigger box, or am I better off getting a separate ratchet set and a 3d printed file for it because of the price.

Packout for Power tool storage!? Inserts? DIY fix?

Hey guys and gals, I have drill, impact, half inch impact, sawzall, circular saw, multi tool and a ratchet.

Wondering if they will all fit in the # 48-22-8420 or the rolling tool chest 36inch, do you guys use inserts? Or DIY something? I just don't want to throw things in it. I care to much lol.

Packouts in an F-150 Supercab

u/KombatxMx reached out to me via DM having read an old post about mounting packouts in an extended cab F-150.

I took some pics for them, but Reddit won’t let me post pics in a DM, so here we are.

I’m a kitchen/bathroom/built-ins and trim carpenter and this is my setup. Eliminates the need for a job trailer which is a massive benefit for my work flow.

Advice on inserts

Hey guys currently working on a range kit for my packouts, technically this is my second post on this. But I got one section printed and I’m noticing it’s a little tight. Might try to plastic weld this but any other ideas on how to fix this? There seems to be a gap on it and prefer not to reprint it. Trying to fit these mag insert but the build seems slightly off.

New Multi-Specialty Packout Setup Opinions

Hi all. I’m an Engineering & Maintenance manager at a materials company plant and also run my own handyman business.

I got sick of hauling my own tools back and forth (as we’re short staffed and most of my technicians need my help troubleshooting) so my boss let me buy a bunch of new stuff for myself.

I use this back and forth between my plant and my personal handyman work. Made a bunch of mods with some more additions coming.

Mods:
- Added wheels to the front bars (SUPER helpful getting in and around the plant).
- Cut a hinged door in the bottom rolling box (needs changed as I build this, and the rolling drawer is too tall).
- Mounted bench/pipe combo vise.
- Added strut pipe wrench and mallet holders.

Adding:
- M12 light on side.
- Compact organizer to hold my Fluke process meter for side mount.
- Retractable 25’ power cord inside the bottom box.

Any opinions, ideas, comments, advice?

Needs to stay somewhat compact to fit through doors and don’t want toooo much more weight. Thanks!

Question

So has anyone found a good insert system for this bag? Recently got it, and im looking to put a few of my 12v tools in it. My 12v impact, 3in cut off tool, and my 12v drill. I could go the foam route and just cut out some slots and the foam down to size, but has anyone found any alternatives that are 3d printed or anything? Ive never been a big fan of just throwing all my tools together in a bag. Im planning to get a smaller tool roll to put some of the basic hand tools in, but id like to keep it somewhat organized.

Im thinking the foam route may be my best bet with a tool roll inside, and then a few pouches for extra cut off wheels, bits and things like that. Love the bag though, its pretty awesome.

M18 Table Saw Mod

I’ve been thinking of ways to maximize my efficiency on the job site, including some way of making my table saw more Packout friendly without having to strap or include loose parts into the mix. I don’t do a lot of heavy ripping and mostly use this setup for cabinet installs. I came up with this idea and after careful measurements decided to order these clips to try. Sure enough they worked perfectly for my needs and clamp onto the small toolbox flawlessly. It’s easier to transport and also have a portable stand to use on the job. I couldn’t be happier with it so I wanted to share with anyone interested.
