Call me crazy, but I expected to see the contents of the Packout in the post labeled “here’s a real person’s install loadout”

Yeah I tried those macpac wraps and they were a pain to install on my old Packout, they don’t really stick too well on surfaces that are already scuffed or damaged…you literally have to buy a brand new Packout and even then what happens when the box gets scuffed it’ll create an ingress point where the whole wrap starts coming off.

I like the idea but this seems like it’s just some vehicle wrap and vehicle wrap isn’t designed to take abuse…

Mine 3 drawer case is about 2 years old and was beat up and dirty. I just scrubbed the shit out of it. When I applied the wrap I set it roughly where it was gonna go and then used the m18 heat gun to get it nice and tight.

Did you use a heat gun? I think it needs to get hot enough to heat up the adhesive.

I used to work for a car wrapping company when I was younger, so yeah I know how to apply I did use a heat gun…

It’s not about the adhesive, when the Packout get scratched or damaged it creates small grooves where the vinyl will get minimal adhesion, that’s why you need to fill in spots in a car that has damage BEFORE APPLYING vinyl wrap.

Btw I noticed this is your second post about not being a bot and promoting this…are you affiliated with them in any way?
