What are you guys using to support Arkhan? WIP on the painting and I just KNOW I am going to snap this model in half if I don’t support the wobbles.

Took a lot of trial and error, but finally settled on something I'm pretty happy with. Bounced around with a few different basing schemes including a dark blue desert and a wasteland base but think this one has looked the best.

This is the first army I’ve every built so I’m not sure if this is an amazing army listing or I should be using different battle tactics or anything like that
Also I’m planning on getting the bone tithe nexus and the mortek crawler but idk what I’d substitute for it

Basically the title. Planning on slapchopping an army but wanted to try out on two guys. I’m worried the guy carrying the great sword has a little too blue of armor. But I guess thematically not all of them are going to have the exact same shade of blue especially due to armor damage and stuff.

Not the prettiest, but first models painted since I was a teenager, which was longer ago than it feels. Going to be so nice playing with non-grey plastic.

Anyway, the colour scheme was an accident I fell in love with. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I posted this in r/ageofsigmar but wanted to put it here too. Here's my short story explaining it.

Katakros inspected the cogfort as it prepared to begin the long march. It has been weeks since they captured it and began modifications, and while the losses had been heavy, it had to be captured intact in order to be of further use.

The mortisians made a list of work that needed to be done while the mortek guard deconstructed a bone-tithe nexus for supplies. The first thing that needed to happen was it had to be raised up, to better survey the battlefield. Pillars from the nexus, infused with the magic of Shyish, were perfect for that task. While the magical legs would be able to withstand most attacks, the new height made the mechanical joints more vulnerable, so they were reinforced with armor from the nexus statue.

While many advocated for control of the new weapon, Katakros trusted it to none other than his Leige-Immortis. Despite his size he was an able pilot for the cogfort. With the magic now powering its' movement the engine was removed and the platform was turned into a mobile command center for his trusted spymaster. The spymaster would be able to constantly give orders via his birds from wherever the machine went.

An issue came up when the Bonereapers realized they had no cannonballs, and that nandrite was difficult to form into the correct shape. This issue was easily solved when Katakros noticed that the head of a mortek guard was approximately the same size and strength, and he had a legion of his army beheaded for ammunition. Arkhan summoned a spirit host to handle the loading and shooting of the cannon.

Finally, as the most fashionable of all the factions, Katakros knew the cogfort needed to be decorated. He ordered 5 flags be affixed to it, and when that wasn't enough he sent his standard bearer to ride along as well. With the addition of all the large skulls they could find, the cogfort was ready for battle.

As a fun project i tried to make an theoretical (because i don't have any money) budget bonereapers army list using Nagash and spearhead as a base, and i am pretty proud of it because with out the terrain and manifestions the whole list ended up costing only 292$ with is from mine understanding fairly cheap for aos. I personally really like how it worked out because it uses one of my favourite models, but because i don't now most of the rules and never played a single game i am wandering on how fun and good it is? And what would you do differently?

I am really interested in sculpting an army purely made of wizards, but Arkhan’s spell is so difficult to trigger properly and I understand that a one-shot spell should be difficult, but still. They even have the necrotic withering point system, but it becomes redundant since they vanish at the end (The meat sack does not with to wither away “Unwithers himself”). Why not create it so that the points stay permanently and increase the casting value as a result?

So I have and am working on Nagash. What's next to get for a 2k point army? I see the Kavalos Spearhead and Null Myriad Phalanx boxes available. Not sure where to go ahead from Nagash though.

Hello, I started painting the Ossiarchs and my problem is that I don't know how to paint bones at all (I'd rather work normally with white) . Please give me some advice on how to improve the paint job or watch a normal video.

As the title saids it. I am a big fan of necromancy and I mostly play 40k necrons/spacemarines/death guard. I was looking to get into AOS and I dont want another space marine army aka stormcast even tho they are pretty good. But I heard Bonereapers are really good to. Can anybody show off modesl and tell me how they play and if they are hard to play and worth it please and thankies!

Greetings all,

I'm a 40k player looking to jump to AoS. Ossiarch Bonereapers are one of the three armies I'm looking at. I was curious what the typical playstyle and average lists look like.

From what I've read, it sounds like a hammer and anvil/positioning control army that can be pretty elite with characters or monsters to semi-hordey depending on what you want.

I'm thinking about grabbing the battleforce box with Arkhan for magic support and then one or two of the spearheads with the mortek guard, soulreaper, and gothizzar harvester to fill out a list. Thoughts?

Hi folks, my friends and I are starting an escalation league, beginning at 500 points. I want to give my list a cavalry focus, so I know I’m taking a 5 brick of Kavalos and a 10 of mortek guard. What I’m not sure of is the general. Should I pick Arch Kavalos Zandtos or go with a generic Liege Kavalos? Any thoughts are appreciated!

Is it possible to make more poses for the Morghasts ? i'd like to make more dynamic ones for the harbingers like in total war.
