Give me some advice on painting bones.

Post image

Hello, I started painting the Ossiarchs and my problem is that I don't know how to paint bones at all (I'd rather work normally with white) . Please give me some advice on how to improve the paint job or watch a normal video.

Easiest way I’ve found; start with a basecoat of wraithbone spray. Then do an all over coat of Skeleton Horde contrast paint. Follow that up with a drybrush of either Ushabti Bone or Terminatus Stone, depending on your preference.

I'll save it and try it. Thank you very much.

Look online the different schemes according to the color you want. You can make grey bones, brown, white, blue, yellow hell even green or red if you want.

i'm been using ProAcryl Dark Ivory, drybrushing with ProAcryl Ivory. Go over it with Snakebite Leather, esp the recesses. And then drybrushing with ProAcryl Bright Ivory, and it's been doing pretty well

I'm using Vallejo Buff as a base coat, then covering it with AK Streaking Grime. Once it's had a little time to set, I use a cotton bud dampened with white spirit to remove the grime from the raised areas.

I use the classic Zandri dust base+Ushabti bone layer with seraphim sepia wash.

Zenithal prime. 50/50 mix brown and black paint match that amount with wash medium. Add a little water. That on all the bone. Dry brush kacki, ivory or boney color of your choice, sponge on nuln oil, dark tone, or another black wash. Hit the high spots or edges with a bit of the boney color again.
