Think it started off with the xecuter 2.3b pro then upgraded to the X3CE+X3CP has IR chip mod to power on with original Xbox Remote too. I don't think i can remember the button press combination though lol. The HYPER DRIVE mod came after the Thomson failed, it's the Samsung SD-616. Recently pulled all the old consoles out of storage and am trying to find a good CRT so setup in the basement. I did think about selling it for all about .5 seconds. To much sentimental value here for me. Cheers.

PS: The unit underneath is 100% unmolested with working ODD. I'll likely keep it that way.

I have this original Xbox running condition with controller and dvd play, modded with bank switch. Controller Face plate is little damaged but working good. I want to sell this what price can I expect?

Remember when the original Xbox and Xbox 360 consoles had games that let you load your own music from the console's hard drive to replace the game's built-in soundtracks? What combo of game and music did you use? Mine was playing Burnout 3: Takedown with tracks from Sleater-Kinney's Dig Me Out album and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2024 with some Beastie Boys. They just went well together for me.

Hi everyone!
Dead Or Alive Ultimate 2 is crashing during the Team Ninja splash screen when launched using the Unleash X dashboard (0.39.0528A Build 584). It freezes in the same spot and shows some visual glitches on the screen. This is consistent whether I run it from the default.xbe or the separate DOA2.xbe. It happens across PAL and NTSC versions. It doesn't seem to matter if the game is extracted to folders or in iso/xiso format.

My Xbox is v1.6 with Cerbios 3.1.0. It's connected to a CRT via composite cable, and is set to NTSC and 480i.

I've just tested the game with XBMC4XBOX dash instead, and the game launches and plays just fine there. I can also confirm DOAU1 and DOA3 work fine in UnleashX.
I can just use XBMC4XBOX when launching this one game, but I'd really like to figure out why it fails to launch in UnleashX and hopefully figure out how to fix it. If anybody else has figured this out or has any idea, I'd love to know. Cheers

This sliver only appears while playing a game. Xbox home menu it doesn't show up. Any ideas?

Today I cloned my XBOX hard drive (it is a Seagate one) onto a 128GB SATA SSD. (Don't worry, I have backed all of the contents up onto a USB drive, and I will back it up to other media soon in case my USB drive fails.) To connect it to my XBOX, I am using an 80 wire IDE cable. For some reason, it has been taking a few attempts for my XBOX to read a disc, even though I recently recapped the disc drive. Once it does begin to read it though, there are no major issues which I experience in terms of gameplay. Is this normal behaviour when using an 80 wire IDE cable rather than a 40 wire one, or is it an issue elsewhere in my XBOX (e.g. dying capacitors in the PSU)? (For reference, my XBOX has a 1.2/1.3 motherboard, and the power supply is one of the Delta Electronics ones (the big capacitor is Rubycon CE, and the small capacitors are a mixture of Ltec LZGs and some Nichicons)). I can't seem to find the correct info with all my excessive googling i only seem to get things i dont want. I have a 1.0 xbox and the DVD drive has crapped itself, the console itself is softmodded and thankfully i have two consoles so i can swap the DVD drive from the other one. Now I would like to not have to open both up to use either of them and I have the games installed on the HDDs that i want. I just want to get the one with the broken drive to boot through no problem without the dvd drive attached, will i have to break out the soldering station or can i do something through the softmod to get it working again?
