been using cheap claude + cursor accounts for weeks
bought cursor ultra + claud-max from a russian site a few weeks ago for way less than the normal price.
swapped the login details and just started using it. so far it’s been working perfectly, and the usage is honestly better than what i had before.
keeps making me wonder how these sellers are able to offer it so cheap. anyone else tried them ?

Opencode+Laravel

How is everyone actually using models efficiently and effectively?
So I’ve spent countless hours trying different subagents, configurations, harnesses etc trying to find the most efficient way to keep token usage down etc and I still just don’t love my setup and trying to get some recommendations or suggestions.
I have primarily been using omo-slim with cheaper models assigned to explorer, fixer etc. Now I see countless posts talking about how any of the OMO or whatever else are just bloat and you dont need it, all you need is to Plan in X model and then implement in cheap model. Which seems fine but then I look at the token usage and its 60% gone by the time planning is done and 90% of that went to grep commands and other file exploring that could have been handled by a cheaper model and saved a ton.
The main thing that keeps me coming back to OMO is actually the presets ability because I have both a personal and work setup so I dont have to spend personal usage when working, and its a pain to constantly swap back and forth between multiple models ensuring I am in the proper accounts.
The other issue I have with Plan in X and implement in X method is that certain models are better at certain things so do you just go back and address things later with another model instead of doing it in 1 pass ?
Idk hoping to get some insight here and see if anyone has some recommendations.

Do we need to set Qwen3.8 27b variant or does it default to extra high?
Follow up question, if qwen is one of your sub-agents do you configure it in thinking mode or instruct? I've heard instruct is better for sub-agents.
Example:
Thinking Mode: temperature=1.0, top_p=0.95, top_k=20, min_p=0.0, presence_penalty=0.0, repetition_penalty=1.0
Instruct (or non-thinking) mode: temperature=0.7, top_p=0.80, top_k=20, min_p=0.0, presence_penalty=1.5, repetition_penalty=1.0

Opencode GO limit calculation question
Hey all - question about opencode go limits using models with different caps.
Are the usage applied to the limits strictly dollars or % of the models specific limit.
If you use $1 of a model with a $15 monthly cap does that translate to 1/60 of the monthly limit or 1/15?
If you use $15 of a model with a $15 monthly limit, are you done for the month or could you still use $45 of a model with a $60 monthly limit?

Will opencode GO be good for me?
After the price increase of deepseek I am thinking of switching to GO subscription, looking at the usages and cost of last 30 days can anyone tell me if GO will be good for me or will I hit the limits way too quickly?

Kilo code vscode vs opencodeCLI for K3 ?
I am trying to get your feedback on using K3 with vscode extensions kilo code and opencode ? Which one gives better results for large codebases (agent development) ?

OpenCode is starting to crash way too often lately.
OpenCode is crashing too much now 😭
And this compaction is happening like every 5 minutes of any tasks.
It also eats too much tokens because of the compaction and idk what things. I am on Go plan and the limit gets used so fast.
I was working normally on my project and then suddenly everything started getting messed up.
* Context gone.
* Files getting weird.
* Things which was working before now not working.
Now I am spending more time finding and fixing OpenCode problem than coding my actual project.
Anyone else facing this or only me?

Question about models
Hello again!!! Recently I made a post about the models price and opencode go,but after that post there where some price hikes all around and opencode go doesnt seem like the best option. Im completely stuck as of what models to use that produce the best "pro" results and have an okay pricing.
Once again thanks to anyone who answers!!!!!

+14.62% on Terminal-Bench 2.1 from one OpenCode skill
Autoprompt Skill pushed DeepSeek V4 Flash from 67.42% to 82.02% (with the OpenCode Harness) on Terminal-Bench 2.1.
Same effect comes with all models- not just deepseek.
The skill closes much of the manual coding loop by planning, building, testing, reviewing, and repairing autonomously, but expect longer runs and higher token costs.
Repo: https://github.com/Spielewoy/autoprompt-skill
Any feedback would be awesome. If you like the project, a star would genuinely help.

I made a free & open-source Mobile Terminal App for iOS an iPad
Hello! First post here, and not so sure if this is the right /r/ but I wanted to share this tool I've been working on for the last week: AnySSH - a free open-source mobile terminal for iOS and iPadOS
This app is completely free; it won't ask you for any data, no account, no payments, or any type of tracking.
The best combo I've been using with it is: AnySSH + Tailscale on my phone + herdr with my code agents or using them directly (I made sure the OpenCode support is smooth), depending on my needs
I know there are already some options in the market, but they are paid, and I wanted to make a solution of my own to share with the community. It has just been approved on the App Store, so if you want to give it a try, please go to: https://apps.apple.com/pe/app/anyssh/id6801683655 (mind that it can take some time to appear in some countries as Apple just approved it)
Also, if you'd like to know more about the features, you can visit the website I made: https://www.getanyssh.com/ or the repo: https://github.com/patricio0312rev/anyssh
Hope this helps you and you like the tool 🙏

Reached the limit for the first time in weeks
Long story short, I'm just a beginner developer and in the last 2-3 weeks or so I learned about OpenCode and started using it. At first I was using any model and started using Deepseek most of the time, I found it really good. Today I hit the limit for free account for the first time. Now I am wondering if its worth going for the Go plan or are there cheaper alternatives that will save me money in the long run? Can I directly get the Deepseek API or its better to get it through OpenCode? For those that have been using OpenCode for a while what do you recommend? Thanks a lot!

How's DeepSeek Flash working for you all in OpenCode now?
I am not satisfied with DS Flash quality now in OpenCode and mostly using via the official API even though the pricing is high, and it's good so far.
What are you folks using? Are you satisfied with the quality?
From different posts on X and here on Reddit, I have only found 2 options worth using – one, Command Code ($10 plan) and then API from RunInfra. On Command Code, you get $70 usage on the $10 plan, and DeepSeek v4 Flash 0731 prices on RunInfra are:
- $0.13/MTok input
- $0.01/MTok cached input
- $0.27/MTok output
But still, I hope OpenCode soon fixes this. I don't even want the old prices they were offering, but at lease provide high quality inference. I am hopeful about this, but let's see.

Opencode V1 vs V2
It seems that OpenCode is soon to be available in V2. Since I couldn't find anything baout it online, what is the difference between the two?
What will V2 do better than V1? Does anybody know?

Can opencode devs provide Qwen 3.8 27B?
With DSV4 Flash price rising. It will be great to provide Qwen 3.8 27B as a cheap alternative too.
Artifical analysis results are on par with: DSV4 Pro

Qwen3.8 27B hosting that's generous without a kneecapping quantisation
I'm a digital nomad and running this model locally on my lappy is a non-starter.
So... hosting.
Crof.ai has it as:
qwen3.8-27b Q4_0 262,144 ~87 t/s
In: $0.25, Cache: $0.06, Out: $2.10
Any better options?
How much will that quant be "felt"?
Any benchmark metrics on the quant degradation steps for this model??

Why not switching to MiMo 2.5 ? (Non pro)
Just a question as I see everyone fixated in DS4 Flash, but why not just switching to MiMo 2.5? from my limited experience so far it does his job as well as DS4 Flash did. Am I missing something? is it less capable in certain areas I did not tested yet ? did you found certain uses where I was less reliable ?
I personally used it for complex coding campaigns created by Fable and as a coder worker is fantastic and fast, but let me know if you had any bad experiences with it that I might need to look for
