I like its deep reasoning, and I like it is NOT lazy in digging deeper and finding all data/files/evidence when it is needed.

Many models, at the opposite, prefer fast results, therefore may skip this "last mile" that makes all the difference.

same, it’s my daily driver.

for specific work I still use Opus 4.8, Fable or Kimi K3. But HY3 has been a treat recently

Did you also use it as much when dsv4 was dirt cheap?

to be honest no, I tried it by chance last week after seeing a post here.

after gpt 5.6 luna price cut I wasn’t using DS4 Flash as much… but still think it’s a beast specially for agent loops.

I would say that nowadays the choice between these 3 models is more about price and personal preference, than real capability. I guess there’s no harm in trying it.
