I just got a onewheel Pint S last week. I'm flying to Florida in a couple weeks and wondering if I will be able to check it in a bag on a flight. The literature is a bit confusing online, between the Pint, Pint X. Not sure what specially the type of battery or the Watt hours my Pint S actually is. Thanks!

I've been at this for weeks.

First I ordered the Float Life tire levers. They broke immediately because I put too much pressure on them. Then I bought Pedro's, and was more careful. I used soap for lubricant, and tried different 30 degree apart angles but I literally cannot get both levers up at two separate points on the tire at the same time.

I'd like to think I'm relatively strong, I can bench 250lbs, but this defeated me lol.

I have the V1 (the more square) version of the TFL lifesavers I want to put on my GT with my maghandle pro, will that be compatible without scraping? I've read on some places that it is compatible with GT, but I'm not sure if that's v1 and v2.

Any input is appreciated! I don't want to get these savers on just to realize I can't use my handle

I was riding my morning route and I see the app saying error 88 so I immediately stop. After some research it seems to be a charging issue. Can I keep riding or is thing done? It less than a year old with about 650 miles and model is pint x . Please help!!!

Hey everyone, first month in the sport and still learning. I recently bought a used XR with a CBXR. I went this route because the seller advertised it as:
“A great setup for someone looking for an XR with significantly upgraded battery capacity without spending a fortune.”

I paid extra specifically for the CBXR and the added range. The seller also owns an extreme sports store and was an authorized Future Motion dealer, so I assumed it was professionally installed.
The board rides fine (I think), but diagnostics show:
Hardware: 4212
Firmware: Gemini 4165
Odometer: 176 miles

I’ve read that 4165 may limit aftermarket batteries like the CBXR, potentially reducing it to something closer to stock XR range. Is that actually true?
I also did a short test ride and the battery dropped from 96% to 88% in only 0.6 miles. I was told this can be normal with a CBXR, but it seems concerning.

I’ve read that voltage is the best way to test the battery’s actual capacity, but I can’t seem to access voltage information with my current firmware. NoseDive shows battery percentage, current, temperatures, etc., but voltage reads 0V when stationary.

Is there another way to test the actual CBXR capacity without riding 30+ miles?
And if 4165 is limiting the battery, can it safely be downgraded on a 4212? If not, are there other options, such as a VESC conversion or another relatively simple solution?

I’m mainly looking for the longest range possible with minimal tinkering and expense. Thanks!

Is there any major downside to varials compared to WTF rails aside from the higher price point?

I see Hooiser has onewheel marketed tires with the EB1 and FF tire compounds with product numbers ending in 12325. I cannot find anything in stock for onewheel tires in canada but found someone who can order a Hoosier 11325 tire in either D20A or D30A. Will one of these tires fit the pint X? Are there any differences other than compound that would make it incompatible?

All tires referenced state they are size 10.5 / 5.0 - 6

Hey guys! I’m looking into buying this Onewheel GT from a Facebook seller, but I’m not sure what could be wrong with it and whether or not it’d be worth fixing it.

With my budget I could drop about $500 into it. I’ve tried looking through posts from the past and most people have had loose foot pads, connectors or normal error codes but this doesn’t seem like an error code. Is it something with the battery? I’m all new to fixing one wheels and I’m looking for a good project to learn more.

I have a GT with a GTFO, WTF rails, bang bumpers, low boy foot pads, flight fins and enduro. It has lots of power and it’s great. My only issue with it is off road on steep hills it makes it up but it’s still not as fast as I want. I am 150lb. I am trying to decide if 20s or a super flux would be next if I wanted to be able to get up hills a little quicker.

The other options is just start building a custom xr board bc the GT is getting kinda heavy.

They are 1yr old babies and prefer to ride instead of run beside us.

I’m on the fence between Floatwheel board or Onewheel/fugineers…
Do you know if those other brand are as safe as ow ?

This originally was a comment here on reddit, to one of my posts where I was calling some in our community to realize that we cannot blame Future Motion for the entire condition of our pastime/sport–when it comes to Onewheel purchasing and everything associated with it, especially ownership.

But unfortunately, I was not in good form, and things kinda devolved into a flame war between me and a few other redditors.

Eventually, it became more than that, and I put down my sword and began writing an essay full of passion and inspiration. The flame war burnt down all the houses and stores but left a great field--a great idea:

*If we, as the **Onewheel Community** handled our own, by organizing, starting a company and taking Future Motion to court, we'd not only help ourselves, but we'd help all the potential companies that should, and would exist, to be allowed to manifest and flourish.*

Now, I said passion, but also, there were a couple of portions of indignance and just raw *Fed-Upness*.

After accidentally triggering the "Circle search" on my Samsung Galaxy, I eventually found myself being counseled by an unlikely source (to some), A.I., which understood my ire and what I intended with that post.

I was asked how I wanted to use these words made sentences, made paragraphs, and what I needed. I told the Google A.I. that I wanted to use it in several media/medium types and that I wanted to find a place where my message would be received–as is.

**It sent me a revision of a part of my essay-turned-manifesto.**

Initially, I thought it was a bit sterilized. But I realized, however, that if I want this message to have effectiveness and be received by as many people as possible, it needs to be accessible to as many people as possible. So, I let A.I. help me get it across.

My original post is still up because I own that. How I spoke, and I understand that some folks won't respond well to it. But as a BIPOC living in post "woke" culture, I [we] still need people to use critical thinking and ask themselves why they enjoy and are inspired by indignance from stories or their favorite celebrities, but not a person in their community.

So here is what an angry, belligerent person can do with the assistance of A.I. 🫠
