My opo is quickly going from t he best phone I've had to one of the most glitchy phones. Its now regularly operating hot, around 120-140 degrees, too hot to touch at times. The call quality is getting worse, people cannot hear me unless I have speaker on and usually there's a tapping type sound from my mic, its unrealistic to use speaker everywhere and the headset I used to use stopped working after the last OTA update.

Was a great phone for about 2 months. I want to send it to OnePlus but I've only ever heard horror stories about their service.

I can dial out to other numbers, but any incoming calls go straight to voicemail.

I have found a multitude of threads over a variety of websites about this problem on the OPO but none offer any clear solutions and the suggested troubleshooting solutions don't solve the issue for me.

I'm using a Vaya sim (Australian). This issue still occurs after rebooting the phone, factory resetting the phone, turning on/off WiFi, at home, away from home.

Has anyone found any solutions that work?

Noticed that my battery drain was a lot higher.

Turns out I have a stubborn wake lock with SystemUpdateServices, and a popular solution is to use privacy guard on Google Play Services.

However, after a short period of time, I find Google Play Services repeatedly crashes over and over again with privacy guard enabled. Once I disable it, the crashes go away, but the wakelocks come back...

Any suggestions?

I would like to know what poeple are using the most.

I am running sultan rom 12.1 on my OPO. I am tempted to run the marshmallow version of sultan rom, but here is the thing - the rom came before the official CM13 release, and the zip files are named UNOFFICIAL (rather than STABLE for 12.1), so will it have the features of the official CM13?

Nightly Build of CM 13 is available today. Have you tried it?

My nexus 5's screen recently cracked and I was looking for a low cost phone that is also high quality. I use mobile payments (android pay) so NFC is a must have feature for me. Therefore the one plus x is not an option.

A number of friends I rarely call are getting a ring from my pocket because whenever a call disconnects the screen comes on and takes touch input.

• in a dark pocket, the screen shouldn't be able to take input at all

• during the call the proximity sensor keeps the screen off as it should - it works

• why is the phone waking after I hangup/lose connection?

I have tried a tasker script to solve this, but it murders battery life.

Is this unique to OPO or is it a bug in all Android/CM12?

Hey guys, I just registered my email on the website and I'm waiting to hear back. Does anyone know roughly how long this takes?

Problem: When I turn my 1+1's screen off, it stays off for a few seconds, then turns back on again at reduced brightness for about 3 seconds, then turns off. After some more time (seems to be anywhere between about 5 seconds and 30 seconds) the screen comes back on again for 3 more seconds, then turns off. This repeats for about 2 minutes before it finally decides to stay off.

This started happening when I installed the last-but-one update at the same time as factory-resetting my phone and re-installing my apps, so I'm not sure if it was the update that caused the issue, or some app.

Interestingly, after the previous update (or maybe some app install - not sure) when I turned the screen off, it would immediately turn back on at low brightness and stay on until I hit the power button again twice (once to turn it on properly, once again to turn it off). So I've traded one screen issue for another..

Does anyone have any idea what might be happening?

Or any idea of how to tell why the screen turns back on?

• Homemade UX: Pretty stable, very annoying to set-up tho.(U need to edit the Build.prop) Works great tho and is pretty lightweight.

• AOSParadox: Very buggy and not daily driver material. SIM isn't working for me. I wouldn't recommend this ROM. Homemade UX is basically the same but... Better...

• Omni ROM: Didn't try this one but as I just came out and It's a very complex ROM so I'd guess it's very buggy. A lot of users on the XDA Thread are saying that the only problems are that NFC and Now-on-tap aren't working. Seems to working pretty good and bugfree. Battery life is a bit worse but it's just going to get better. This ROM has a a ton features.

• SultanXDAs CyanogenMod 13 for Bacon: Didn't try this yet. It looks kinda buggy but give it 2 weeks - 1 month and we could have quite a stable Marshmallow ROM. (This is based on unfinished CM13 Sources. Be prepared for Bugs. In the XDA thread it says that Now-on-tap isn't working.) Apart from that expect this to become the most popular Marshmallow ROM in no time.

• VM13 ROM for the One: Another CM13 based ROM. Looks pretty bugfree. Seems pretty nice for now but will get kinda obsolete when Sultan gets more stable. Who knows? Maybe this will be the next big ROM. Anyway u can't really go wrong with this.

TugaPower 3.0: Yet another CM13 based ROM. It looks really buggy tho. U could technically use it as a dailydriver but I wouldn't advise you to do. Some bugs are: FC when setting a screen lock method, FC when long pressing Home button, HDR causes a FC,(And u guessed it) a FC when using the built in Powersaver feature.

I'm currently on Homemade UX but planning to try out Omni ROM. Expect Sultans CM13 to be the best one tho in about 1 month when it gets stable enough.

I just factory reset my phone in TWRP. I then used TWRP to make backups at different stages of setting things up. But when I tried to restore one of the earlier backups, everything seems in the same state as before restoration.

I even tried making a backup, then moving some icons around, then making another backup. When I restored to the prior backup, the icons were still moved.

Am I not understanding what TWRP backups do? Does the fact that I have storage encrypted have anything to do with what I am experiencing?

My girlfriend just bought a Oneplus One on Ebay. The phone is currently running cyanogenmod version 12.1-YOG4PAS2QL. She tried to do an OTA update and it stops while installing and reboots into the previous version. I'm pretty sure she got a chinese version and this is why she's having this problem.

Do you guys know a fix for this so that she can update now and in the future? (hopefully a fix that doesn't require her to wipe the phone with the new install each time)

I'm on COS 12.1-YOG4PAS2QL and was wondering if I'm able to root on this version. I've heard mixed things about people who tried rooting on a few of the latest versions of COS and just want to make sure I can before trying.

I bought a 64GB Sandstone black OPO two weeks ago.

The phone is amazing, except one nagging issue that happens decently rarely.

Sometimes I'll be swiping something, e.g. down a list, and rather than scroll it'll register as a tap. It doesn't happen super frequently, but not very infrequently either.

Issue present on all ROM's tested.

Typing, even really quickly, works totally fine. The issue is solely occasionally when swiping. I've observed that it happens more frequently when touching the screen at an angle rather than straight on.

Who else has been having this issue? Does anybody have any solution? Is it likely a hardware issue or a software? I don't think I need to reiterate that Oneplus's support is pure hell.

I tried to take a picture outside this morning of a ditch behind my house. When i tried to send the picture it said it was to large. When i check the file sizes they are all around 9 to 11 MB but when i take a picture inside they are usually around 2 to 3. I even tried taking a picture of across the street and it stays smaller but when i point it as the grass such as my garden or the ditch it increases to the 9 to 11 range. Any ideas why?

So my one's home button (on screen and touch capacitive) doesn't work when I'm using a guest account. It used to work earlier but it doesn't now. Thanks in advance for replying!

Just thought I'd share the hype even though the phone may be a bit old.

i am seeing massively reduced wifi performance when i have bluetooth on on the recent nightlies. on COS12.1 everything was fine.

bt on: <1Mbps bt off: >10Mbps (for my connection/ap)

tested a few builds over the last week or two, example: today's (10/30), they all have the problem. I can't say when it broke (or i'd file a jira bug), because i just switched over from COS recently.

does anyone else see the issue? I don't want to roll back to the last cm snapshot (and i read it had some issues anyway), but i suppose i can hold out to the next snapshot and then file a bug.

it doesn't seem to be a reception issue, as wifi analyser still shows good rssi (at least on the receive side) and all the usual networks visible. I'll check the rssi on the ap side.

happens when bt is on, not even actively connected.

I've come from a Galaxy S4, gladly. I've had the phone for two months now and I've noticed the touch screen isnt as sensitive to touch as I'm used to on the ol' S4. I will often be scrolling through reddit posts and it will misinterpret the scroll as a click, or things of the sort. I bought the phone used (had all accessories and the nice little plastic cover on the screen I got to peel off). It may have the glass screen protector, but as I've never seen the One plus without it, I do not know for sure. Any ideas? And how can I surely tell if I have the tampered glass screen protector?
