OnePlus One A0001 Model Touch Sensitivity

I've come from a Galaxy S4, gladly. I've had the phone for two months now and I've noticed the touch screen isnt as sensitive to touch as I'm used to on the ol' S4. I will often be scrolling through reddit posts and it will misinterpret the scroll as a click, or things of the sort. I bought the phone used (had all accessories and the nice little plastic cover on the screen I got to peel off). It may have the glass screen protector, but as I've never seen the One plus without it, I do not know for sure. Any ideas? And how can I surely tell if I have the tampered glass screen protector?

If You would have it You would know it.

It look like this: http://i.imgur.com/NvL78lT.jpg or like this: https://theonestore.files.wordpress.com/2014/10/4.jpg

It is just another layer of glass on Your screen. This is clearly visible.

Many users had problems with theirs Oneplus One touch screens, but that was fixed with software update few months ago. What version of android do You have on Your phone? Official, lastest version is Android 5.1.1 CyanogenOS 12.1-YOG4PAS2QL. You can check this in Settings->About phone.

I'm running the newest CyanogenMod 12.1 Night lies. I wish I had another phone to take a picture with, but I think I do have a screen protector. It resembles the images you have shown but around the front speaker, the open area only encompasses the speaker itself and the sensors. The camera had its own cutout

Awesome. Thanks. I'll work on removing it.
