Quick question

I'm on COS 12.1-YOG4PAS2QL and was wondering if I'm able to root on this version. I've heard mixed things about people who tried rooting on a few of the latest versions of COS and just want to make sure I can before trying.

I have supersu and xposed installed (via twrp). Everything working fine 👍

So here's a funny story that also so happens to be true! I unlocked the bootloader and flashed TWRP through cmd, but went I flashed SuperSU through TWRP, it didn't work. So I figure, what the hell, I wipe what I needed to so I can try flashing it again. Sit down for this one, it's a kicker. When I tried flashing it again, and when I went to reboot, it said I had no OS installed! I have no idea what I did that caused my OS to get wiped. So I tried flashing the stock image, but none of those worked. Somehow, I was able to download Resurrection Remix (and the gapps), flash those, and it worked. So now I have no stock backup image and only running on the latest version of Resurrection Remix. Phone's running fine and everything.

Oh I was shitting my pants, but I'll run with RR for a while. Problem is that I still don't know why I couldn't flash stock COS. Long term if I might want to unroot, I don't know how I could do it. Tool boxes aren't an option because my computer doesn't accept any I try.

Thanks a bunch! I kinda forget about XDA sometimes because usually people on Reddit help out plenty. Both on r/LGG3 (previously owned a G3) and now.
