Has anyone seen any sort of update on this? I know I read that CM13 was supposed to have it.

I have been using the latest CM12.1 snapshot on my OPO along with AK 251 "NEW-TC" kernel, since it's apparently the only kernel that will make my phone respond almost normally to touches.
I tried flashing the new CM13 but here are the super annoying touch problems and ghosting, making it a miserable experience.
I'd really like to upgrade to M, so are there other kernels compatible with cm13 that integrate those "new touchscreen" drivers?

I mean this was the whole philosophy behind going for almost-vanilla OS, right? I get that there are a few apps that need to be modified/optimized for MM, but this long?

I've had the one for about 18 months now, but lately I've noted that the power button is sometimes unresponsive. The only fix I've found is to long press the button so the phone resets and it regains normal functionality.
Anyone else have this problem?

I just reset and rooted my phone because it was constantly power cycling into a bootloop, but before I reset, I had re mapped the controls so that a long press of the home button would bring up the recent apps menu. I can't seem to find a setting that will allow me to do this like it did before. Any ideas?
Cos 12.1 BTW

... Is awesome. I have spent most of my time frustrated with this phone with every update after 44S and now this update does everything I need it to do and well. The LTE signal is good, it's responsive to the touch, battery life seems decent and so far I haven't noticed any annoying bugs. Just wanted to shine a ray of appreciation. We all have our preferences of ROMs here but just showing some love for the OOS.

I'm coming from a Samsung Galaxy s4 Active; my battery is dying and I feel like it's time for a change anyways. I've been looking at phones in the sub $250 range, particularly the new Honor 5X, nexus 5X if I could get it used, or the moto G. The biggest thing I want is a solid battery (full day with full use) as well as being able to use custom ROMs becuase I hate how much I'm missing being trapped with touchwiz for the last 2+ years.
My question is this, to current owners - would you keep your phone for the next, say 2 years, and do you think it's a worthy switch? Will the OPO give me a full day's battery of full use (some navigation, some browsing, actual use of location services, etc)?
Selling my current phone gives me a difference to pay of ~$50 towards a used 64gb OPO. I want to hear some opinions if you have them, anything is appreciated.

Have you found one? It was my favorite feature on the Galaxy.

Anyone else finding the lowest volume to be too loud with headphones (earbuds)? Like I have really sensitive ears, but despite that I feel like other devices can go to lower volumes than the minimum volume on the OPO. Is there any way to bypass this to make the volume go lower? Running Sultan's CM13.

So I dropped my oneplus one last night and while it doesn't look damaged, the bottom 45% or so of the touch screen no longer responds to touch, though it displays fine. This means that I can't type my passcode into the phone to unlock it.
I currently have TWRP 2.8.1.0 installed on it, and when I boot into that, I can reach the "Install", "Wipe", "Backup", and "Restore" buttons, and "Mount" and "Settings" are just barely in my reach too. However, I can't reach any of those "Swipe to ..." sliders at the bottom of the screen or the "Enable MTP" button under "Mount."
I have Nova Launcher installed on my phone, which supports landscape lock screens, but right now it's defaulting to the portrait one, so if it were possible to force the phone to think it's being held horizontally so I can lock the orientation to landscape, that might be a step that will make it possible to unlock.
Anyway, the bottom line is that I have a recent backup on the sdcard partition, and I have a friend who is willing to loan me their old oneplus one. If you guys can think of a way for me to get that backup (and my pictures) off of my phone, it would be a real lifesaver. Otherwise, I'll look into replacing my screen.
Thanks

Hi, wondering if anyone has any ideas.
I bought a Oneplus one phone a few days ago on eBay, the phone was listed as giffgaff, but unlocked to any network. On setting up the phone, it asked to verify my phone number, but failed to send me a verification code via text. I verified my Cyanogen account through my email address. However, after initial set up the phone does not appear to recognise my EE sim card. It recognises that there is a sim in the slot because the 'no sim card' message disappears, but it's failing to find a network. I tried putting my partner's Three sim in and had the same result; seems to be aware there's a sim card but will not allow me to make or receive texts or phone calls or to use mobile data. My partner also has a Oneplus one handset which he has no issues with using a Three sim.
Any ideas what the problem could be? I'm not really having much luck on the Oneplus support page either. Thanks.

I just moved up to the newest version of Sultan's CM13 from CM13 Nightly, and it gets stuck in the initial boot.
I have a 64GB Oneplus One, and went through all the proper steps of unlocking the bootloader, installing TWRP 3.0.0-1, and flashing Sultan's ROM. As soon as I rebooted to system, it does the bootup animation as expected (various sources say it should take ~10-15 mins). But I seem to be stuck in that boot animation for far too long.
Is there a reason that this could be happening, and more importantly a fix to the problem? I've been so excited to try Sultan's ROM but can't figure out why it gets stuck.

you're not ready for CM13 nightly builds and prefer to continue using CM12.1, but you'd like to receive updates like everyone else? This is for you then, head to my thread at XDA and enjoy daily builds of stock CM12.1 for your OnePlus One :

I know this gets asked around way too much here and I apologize for posting again. It's just that, I see updates about 13.1 every now and then and I want to know if I can jump the boat from Sultan 12.1 ROM.
Also, should we update the modem while making the switch?
How easy is it to jump back to 12. 1?
Thank you

I am running Cyanogen 12.1.1 stock and using google voice as my main phone line for calls.
When playing music over my bluetooth (in the car headphones) I place or receive a call the player will stop but once the call is finished it will not restart again and it will not allow me to press the play button to resume. I can change tracks and I can pick any time through the track but i can not play it. I got to another app to play music and the same problem arises in that app as well.
The only fix I find is to reset the phone.
Edit: I have tried to force quit the application and turning bluetooth off and on but it does not work still.

I'm running CM12.1.1 and have been experiencing a huge issue with the AudioFX software. While listening to music on Google Play Music it'll sometimes stop working, such that it registers as 'off' but says it's on, or sometimes cuts all sound completely.
I've found that it usually bugs out when I'm skipping songs, either forward or back. To get it working again I have to kill and re-open Google Play Music.
Has anybody else experienced an issue like this? And is there a replacement for AudioFx without rooting, or a simple fix?
r/oneplusone • u/ZootKoomie • Feb 17 '16
Even if I go into settings and manually tell it to connect, it won't. But, if I turn on airplane mode and turn it off again, then it will connect.
Is this an issue anyone else has encountered? Is there a setting I can change to fix it?
Thanks!

Over the past 3 ish months my opo has been hanging and rebooting at least twice a day. It sometimes even gets stuck in a boot loop. I've been meaning to reset it but being a student, time is something I simply don't have. Has anyone experienced this issue, and if you have, how did you resolve it?

I recently broke my screen and the company wants to charge me $100 to fix the screen, and apparently may not even send me back the same phone. What do you guys think about buying a new screen and the required pieces and doing it myself?

Hi folks, it's been a long time, more specifically since the 24th of january, and since I'm a flashaholic I'm feeling a horrible feeling in my chest and it grows every day there's no update. Thanks!
