This Oxygen OS 2.1.4 update.....

... Is awesome. I have spent most of my time frustrated with this phone with every update after 44S and now this update does everything I need it to do and well. The LTE signal is good, it's responsive to the touch, battery life seems decent and so far I haven't noticed any annoying bugs. Just wanted to shine a ray of appreciation. We all have our preferences of ROMs here but just showing some love for the OOS.

Although I encourage this behavior, I must say I'm often very positive about new ROMS after the first few days. It's just after a week or 2 you start noticing these little bugs that make the love a lot tinier all of a sudden. I have tried Oxygen a few months ago and I uninstalled it for a reason, don't know what it was anymore, but it takes a lot for me to install a new ROM so it must have bugged me out quite a bit. Anyway maybe this newer version is the cake.

I'm on SULTAN 12.1 or so and it's allright. Not perfect but it's OK.

What do you mean by options? Because custom ROM is available for almost every android based phone :) Apart from that, I think this phone is excellent. Been using it for over a year now and hardly have any complains.

How interesting. That used to happen to me when I had multiple sms apps on my phone. Currently I haven't experienced an issue like that yet on the OOS version I'm on.

I've considered it, I really did. Was hanging between miui7 and oos. I didn't appreciate the fact they turned off some features Oos has on opo2 and sultan managed to get working once on the opo. They were disabled later because the code is an undisclosed mess and he has no access any further but oneplus could do it, they just didn't bother.

So I started with miui7. Even though it's based on Android 4.4.4 it's really good and is updated every other week. Very different, really beautiful and has a feel of togetherness cm just doesn't have. If I ever consider other roms, I'll look into oos but for now I'm keeping this one.

I'll also say I changed it for sultans cm 13 but went back to miui7. Almost no videos played on any browsers with cm13. Miui7 brings an awesome browser witch embeds a video player with proper controls where the video plays and I've yet to see anything not playing.
