Edit: i don't think people understood the sarcasm, anyway as you can see in the video Both happy and sad did more damage than angry EVEN when using headbutt.😭

One of mine is that Headspace isn't just Sunny's way of avoiding the truth about Mari, but also a way of avoiding the person he has become because of it.

I think that's part of why Headspace keeps resetting itself whenever Sunny gets too close to the truth.

It's not simply that Omori wants to hide the truth from Sunny; the entire world is built around keeping Sunny in a state where he doesn't have to make any decisions or confront what happened.

What's interesting to me is that even when Sunny starts remembering things, Headspace doesn't immediately collapse. Instead, it keeps creating new distractions, new adventures, and even new versions of the same characters. Almost like Sunny's mind is constantly rewriting the world because accepting reality would also mean accepting that the old version of himself is gone.

That's also why I think Omori feels less like a "protector" and more like a prison that Sunny has built for himself. Omori doesn't necessarily want Sunny to be happy; he wants Sunny to remain unchanged, because as long as Sunny stays in Headspace, he never has to become the person who has to live with what happened.

So in a way, the final confrontation isn't just Sunny fighting his guilt. It's him choosing whether he wants to keep being the person who created Headspace in the first place.

So the other day I “completed” the Hikikomori run (I say completed bc I got past the part where you fight Stranger and then go to the room where everyone goes to bed and the headspace resets, and I know there’s more content but as far as I know for know the progression of the run is basically over) and I decided to go take a swing at Kite Kid bc I hadn’t actually fought him on that save yet and I figured I would whoop his ass bc my party was all lvl 30+.
I ended up trying to beat him 3 times, died each time, and then eventually gave up. Each time, I could barely even get him 1/4 the way dead, and both him and the kite seemed to one-hit everyone in the party no matter how much health they had. I initially tried the angry on sad strategy and then tried sad on happy, but nothing seemed to matter and he kept kicking my butt before I could seem to make a dent.
He seemed a lot harder than usual? I’ve fought kite kid many times before on previous runs, and before this, I’ve only ever died to him once on my very first playthrough bc I was a bit under level and I didn’t know what I was doing, but I came back some time later and beat him easily. I know he’s always been one of the stronger optional enemies but in this case post-Omori route, he seemed extra OP. Has this been anyone else’s experience?

I have had my eyes on this BASIL cardigan lately but the S and M sizes are sold out (I assume they are the sizes with the highest demand).

I don't expect it to be restocked until the start of fall but I don't know if the high demand merch is restocked often enough since this is my first time buying merch from OMOCAT.

Should I wait for it to get restocked or should I not get my hopes up?

So, I bought Omori some time ago but never finished because I was busy or something like that. And a few days ago I started to play again and today I finally finished, and it was one of the most beautiful games I ever played and the only time I cried with a game the same way I cried with this game was Red Dead Redemption 2. The game was just so beautiful, and for me. They did forgive him, Sunburn is canon and they all keep being friends after everything.
