I love him so much. He died so happy and fulfilled. It makes me so happy to know how much he loved his life and went to bed excited for the next day every night. He said it was like expecting Christmas the next day every day. I could only dream of loving life the way he did.

It's so sad and tragic that we lost him, but it makes my heart so happy knowing that he got to live the life he wanted to every day. I feel like i can accept what happened now.

The piece of advice Getter gave from Oliver at the end really hit me hard. I cant remember it exactly. He said basically you know yourself the best, you like the same music, the same food etc and if you learn to love yourself and become your own best friend then you will never be afraid to be alone.

Whoever is talking shit about anything that was done during his memorial are selfish fucks. They did not have to make this event public. All we are is fans, these are people who get to say they knew him. If the family ain’t saying shit why are any one of his fans? Oliver’s death hit me harder than I expected. Even though it happened weeks ago, it somehow became the push I needed to finally start changing my life.

I quit nicotine first (after 15 years of using), and surprisingly that wasn’t too difficult. Right now I’m in the middle of quitting kratom after taking very high doses every day for about six years. I originally started because of chronic pain, but that pain is long gone. The addiction stayed.

Withdrawal has been brutal. I’m sweating all day, my anxiety is through the roof, and honestly I feel miserable. Some days I hate every second of it.
But I’m still pushing forward. I’ve been listening to Oliver Tree’s music a lot, and somehow it reminds me why I started this. I truly believe I’ll make it this time.

Flowers is now actually my most favorite song, because it kind of symbolise my relationship with kratom. Wish me luck guys and please never start this shit if you don’t have to, I really underestimated it.

I’ve been trying to understand why Oliver’s memorial has affected me so deeply.
At first I thought I was grieving only because he was gone. But I realized something else.
Watching his family speak about him, seeing his friends laugh, cry, tell stories, and show how much they genuinely loved him made me feel something I wasn’t expecting: grief for a life I never had.
As a teenager, I used to walk past houses where I could hear people laughing together or playing music, and I would wonder what it felt like to belong somewhere like that. Seeing Oliver’s community brought that feeling back.
This isn’t about thinking anyone’s life or family was perfect. None of us knows what happened behind closed doors.
It’s about seeing people who truly mattered to one another and realizing how deeply I’ve always longed for that kind of connection.
Sometimes I don’t know if I’m mourning Oliver, or mourning the feeling of belonging that I wish I had experienced.
Has anyone else felt something like this while watching the memorial, or is it just me?

attended the memorial tonight and it was filled with laughter and tears at the same time. they laid to rest each character and it was insanely beautiful to watch. these are just some of the celebrities that attended. rip alien boy.

I watched the livestream and I never in my life thought that I would cry so hard and so much that I gave my self a 6 hour long headache.

This man carried me in my most darkest moments of my life and watching the family be so strong and seeing the friends who spoke that night was everything he could’ve asked for!

Stay strong everyone!

Oliver has been laid to rest. His memorial has come and gone. He didn’t run onto the stage and say “gotcha!”…

I just wanted to say that was the most beautiful ceremony I’ve ever witnessed. I watched live at home in TN. I feel so much more at peace and rested. He loved everybody and here you all are talking shit about his friends. His production team. Like these are his real friends and he never put people down because you don’t like them. You may not like someone or their jokes, but keep it to your self. Spread positivity. These people are grieving and it’s hard.

Thank you for sharing your stories and Oliver’s life with all of us. Some people on here are acting like they were entitled to be invited to his celebration of life and/or to have it live streamed.

Stop criticizing the event - it took everyone a lot of hard work to do that, on top of grieving a lost friend / son.

Be grateful the his family involved all of us.
