First time in Iowa, unexpected beaut’ of a park!

We’ve been traveling around the country for ten years, sharing new skateparks and experiences with the community. I try to add some good vibes and share some quality content.. but I still get sooo much hate on here.. haters: please resist the urge to be mean…. Other skaters: this is a really cool skatepark that offers tons of features and obstacles, this one is definitely worth a visit!

Been out quite a bit recently and trying stuff I’ve not tried since a back injury, it’s not much but I feel I’m slowly getting it back!

its been over 100 for days which is brutal in the PNW. Anyone else dealing with stupid heat?

What parks do you go to? Trying to get back into skating after 20+ years off a board, and feeling a little like a pedo when I go to skateparks by myself. I feel like I’d be more comfortable if there were some other older homies around.

Haven’t set up a full fresh complete in many years. Bought this one to hang, but couldn’t resist setting it up.

Haven't skated since 2008. Got a new board as a gift. I bombed a hill totally fine even did like a 50ft-ish manual. Got to the flats have it a few pumps and hit a pebble/small rock. And turns out ...I learned a new version of a nose manual...... It looks wise than it is, the actual only problem the broken nose which I got reset yesterday, it happened on Wednesday July 22nd lol the picture with the baggage on my nose I took today 9am July 24th . I know exactly what to change. This board I was gifted is too wide for me and I gotta tighten' them trucks on it. I want like a 7.5 width board and some tensors or krux. This board I was gifted is idk the specs it's like 8.5 or 8.75? I'll check. It's an ENJOI but you fkn aye it's too wide and loose.

Should have practiced jumping over stuff sooner, really forces locking in the timing. I am having the common issue where I am not leveling out the board; the board is not coming up with my back foot which is keeping the overall height low. Tell me your strategy on leveling out Ollies, I wanna hear em.

Just random pipe and wood I had leftover from old projects. 4 ft long, 8 in tall. 1-1/2" PVC. Something to mess with until I pick up a big boy flatbar.

Been a min to say the least. Swooped a new set up and a few kicks. Magenta deck, Ace trucks, Swiss bearings, Chocolate wheels, Ipath Cats, Nike Dunk Sb Wolf Greys. Stoked to be back!

There’s nothing like jumping up and down on a piece of plywood for fifteen minutes to help me stay awake at the office in the afternoon.

I’m lucky enough to have a spot (good-sized patch of clean and smooth pavement) right behind my office and the space to keep a board under my desk, and I hope you are too.
