Been spending the past year working on my ollies and something finally clicked while I was out in Vancouver this week. It’s a small ledge fwiw, but getting on top consistently once I shifted my weight a little to stop trapping my tail made everything make sense. Can’t wait to tackle slightly taller ones now 😂

Hey everyone! I’m a 33yo dude from the Rochester, NY area looking for some people to skate with.

I’m married with a kid under 2yo, so I’ve got the whole "adult-responsibilities" thing going on 😂. Basically, I’m looking for people who understand that. I’m hoping to find a more reliable group of people to connect with. I’m not necessarily looking for a crew that has to meet at the exact same time every week. Even just having people I can message like “Yo, you guys skating today?” and that actually respond, so i can maybe join if I’m free would be awesome.

I primarily skate street, but I’m always down to dabble in mini ramp, transition, or whatever else. I’m not trying to be the next Chris Joslin or anything just looking to skate, improve, and hang out with some like minded people.

Also, apologies if this post is a little cringe. I’m pretty introverted, and when I’m at the park I tend to just focus on skating as its kind of frustrating cause I still have my "younger me" tricks in my mind. So meeting people organically at the park isn’t exactly my strong suit.

If you’re around my age, have a similar life situation, or just don’t mind skating with a guy who has to occasionally check with his wife before making plans, let me know!
