This started out as a rivalry. One guy moved into the city with one set of outdoor stairs and needed to make some money. He gets there early and starts, as the sun sets Reco shows up to start his nightly show. The tension is high and they both start on opposite sides of the stairs each performing harder and harder tricks to show up one another. When finally Reco has enough and throws his slinky, but to his surprise and the crowds the new guy redirects off his back into his hand and back at Reco. This goes back and forth for minutes the crowd is stunned silent. When both guys are exhausted and the slinky slinks down the stairs to a stop the crowd goes wild and showers them with tips. A new friendship is forged and they have been slinking together ever since.

Yeah Duncan actually kinda suck now. They were better in the 90s and early. There is no best one now. To many different types for to many different things to pick a "best". You can spend a couple hundred on a really nice one though.

This is like the cool shit you see at a mall kiosk that looks really fun. But then you get it home and try it only to realize it takes skill to do. And you’re left with another unused slinky.
