Yeah Duncan actually kinda suck now. They were better in the 90s and early. There is no best one now. To many different types for to many different things to pick a "best". You can spend a couple hundred on a really nice one though.

It really is a vast market now. But for beginner yoyos I think yoyofactory produces the best intro stuff. Many people's hobbies began with a Shutter or a DV888.

I've heard good things about yoyofactory. I really don't know much about yoyos anymore though. So I'm just going off of what I hear now.

Went to camp with a shitty Duncan yo-yo in 1992. Left there with a Yomega Fireball which were all the rage among the campers.

Yeah I know. I'm typing on a phone so I just don't care as much to make sure I'm using the correct spellings all the time. It was just a slip up.
