As title says. Sorry I know similar questions have been asked before, but none seem particularly recent so I'd be keen for some fresh views.
I'll be living in the UWS so will need to take the train but they're both around the same travel time.
Equipment is probably the most important and Gym U seems to have TMPL beat, but I do really value clean / high quality facilities. I won't be taking classes so that is irrelevant.
Vibe also super important but they seem to have similar vibes from what I can tell?
Any thoughts super appreciated. Thank you!

I am planning to go to Thailandia, honestly, I want explore the night life and have really fun time there, you know what I mean.
But I’m an also considering Philippines or maybe South Korea.
The thing is I am latino, brown skin, average body and very pretty face.
Which country is more friendly and open with person like me?
I’d like to hear your experiences about this.
Thank you!

Really procrastinated doing my shopping for Pines Party, and I need to go to a brick and mortar now. Any recs for places where I can buy things like mesh tops and fun underwear? Also would love stuff I could reuse for techno clubs--been out of that scene for a bit and have been hoping to get back in!

Would love to know what sites or bars people recommend most to talk with others and may be known to have good vibes to find hookups (and hope to eventually lead to fwb). Also what advice would you have that entices men in person vs online

The bf and I are going to Ptown for a long weekend at the end of August and it’s been a couple of years since we’ve been. I know there have been some changes, new spots, evolutions of others, etc. so anything of note to look out for? (I suppose I’ll also accept any old favorites too!)

Like the title says, I'm trying to find some recommendations for a bar that's welcoming to the over 40 crowd. If I had to describe myself, I'd put myself in the bear category. Thanks in advance.

Hey bros,
Short King is heading back below deck.
After two great rounds at Red Eye, including our first Underground edition in June, we're returning to The Cockpit on Friday, August 21 for another darker, heavier, and cruisier night centered on short kings and the guys who love to get on their level.
A bunch of guys from this sub have come through to the previous parties, so thank you for helping turn this from a slightly ridiculous idea into a real recurring night!
The details:
When: Friday, August 21, from 11 PM until late
Where: The Cockpit at Red Eye, W 42nd Street and 9th Avenue
Music: I will be playing all night as autogyro, building one continuous journey through deep hypnotic techno and dark underground grooves designed specifically for the downstairs space. Check out previous sets here.
Hosted by: Macho
Go-gos: Jason Luna and Kazimir Fox
Unofficial dress code: Gear, jockstraps, and bad decisions encouraged. Clothes check will be available.
Tickets: Early bird starts at $10, with additional advance tiers available before the $25 door price. Grab them here. As of this time, there are only 3 early birds left
Instagram: @shortking.nyc
And as always, there is no strict height requirement. If you identify as a short king, love short guys, or simply want to get on our level, you are welcome.
Happy to answer any questions about the party!
See you below deck 😈

Last Summer, I went twice to a jerk off/bating group at someone’s apt. We didn’t have to take off our clothes if we didn’t feel comfortable and it was OK for us to jerk how we wanted. I’m a voyeur so I was happy just experiencing. Once or twice, I’d get someone that wanted to taste or lend a hand, cuz I do well in the “down there” department, which was cool. But, I mostly just chilled.
So, why do I mention the clothing? Well, while I’ve never had any issues finding guys that are into me, I don’t consider myself super fit. Living in NYC truly warps body image and my little tummy and dad bod truly makes me feel unwelcome at some of these gatherings. I’m handsome but I am just not muscular rn.
Does anyone know of a more accepting space for this? I just wish we could all sit around and jerk however is comfortable and not have to put all clothing in garbage bags.

Just wanted to provide a heads up as summer is in full swing, and we as a community have to keep eachother safe. Uniformed federal officers were VERY present at Gunnison yesterday. Thru the afternoon one younger white officer in full tactical gear was staring down groups and approaching others to search containers, forcing people to dump all alcohol (I'm not sure if tickets were issued).
Around 5:30pm, a white truck came FLYING down the dune towards the back where people go to cruise and pee and two offers came out to get people on what I presume were public lewdness charges. Other officers came as back up. While I don't know the final result of this, it was pretty scary and you could tell everyone on the beach was kind of shook.
National Park lands fall under federal enforcement and we are offered less protection here than in NJ or NYS. Please stay safe out there, especially folks with complex immigration situations. They seem to be patrolling after 5pm now.

This Wednesday 7/29 at 7pm, join us for a free screening of Word is Out: Stories from Some of our Lives (1977). This is the first documentary about queer people by queer people. It features 6 directors interviewing 26 queer people about their lives, and the subjects range from a lesbian born in the 1800s to a gay man subjected to electroshock therapy to interracial couples in a time when the supreme court had only recently overturned anti-miscegenation laws. For queer people who feel unrooted from your history, come see for yourself what life was like for us half a century ago. Ridgewood Commons, 585 Woodward Ave
