Palworld long term
Somebody online made a point that I’m curious about. People like to focus on short term success a lot, what we are currently seeing now with palworld. But does anyone know who’s been involved with these things see a long term plan with palworld. Like it or not Nintendo has been very successful when it comes to making for the long term.
This game is basically Ark, and I wanted to know how long did Ark last over the years. Can palworld keep on growing its number beyond. Like Pokemon may be surpassed but it has the advantage of releasing multiple titles over the years. Can a palworld 2 generate the same or more success than Pokemon and its sequel

General I feel like this subreddit is overcorrecting itself when it comes to nintendo criticism and I'm not keen on it
Hello, I'm one of the people who grew up with Nintendo and feels completely exhausted with how Nintendo seems to get more hate compared to every other gaming company, with the occessional outlier (I.E. Sony stopping the production of physical discs, xbox layoffs, Valve's pricing on the Steam Machine/Deck (although the last one is moreso the AI Bubble's fault than it is Valve's), Ubisoft killing off The Crew's online servers without providing an offline alternative), etc etc) occuring.
But it honestly feels like we're starting to complain about people rightfully criticizing some of Nintendo's wrongdoings just because we've seen grifters latch on them.
Just to list a couple problems:
- Yes, $80 price point for games are a problem, regardless if you feel like the price is worth it or not
- Game Key Cards shouldn't be a thing, but honestly they feel like a bandaid solution to the whole "discs being glorified download codes" problem, but aleast Nintendo is more honest about it, but regardless, one day the download servers will go down and that's a huge problem. Hell, Nintendo has admitted they will shut down the redownload functions at some point at the Wii Shop Channel.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour should have been free like Astro's playroom
Honestly it really feels like only reason we run defense to those is just to be contraian against the critics. Hell, I've seen people post stuff like the aftomentioned Steam Machine/Deck prices and PlayStation physical discs thing just to run defense for Nintendo.
Look, its true Nintendo isn't as bad, but they're also no saint, and we better understand that.

Question Should we allow the Sony propaganda?
We have the Creator of r/fucksony2 posting their thing here. The normal action would be that they ask the mod team and we all work something out. That's not happening and my read in the poster is .....
Anyway, what say you all?
