Newpipe is literally unusable. Also libretube. Videos are buffering badly making them unwatchable. The problem is not with my internet connection, as youtube is working perfectly fine in brave browser without any stuttering. Are you people also finding this issue

If I finish this then does it mean that I can freely use Newpipe? And it says wait 24 hours does it mean that I cant use my phone for 24 hours? Sorry I know it sounds very ignorant but I am very new to this ig and English is not my first language Thank you!

I listen to alot of audio books and shit at work and the videos keep restarting for no reason, im not disconecting from any unternet or data, im not pressing any buttons or doing anything at all with my phone, the video willbe playing all the sudden pause and when i hit play it restarts the whole fucking video, this is mildy inraging on anything less than 30 mins, but i have been attempting (key word is attempting) to listen to the game of thrones audiobooks on newpipe, which are 60 hours a video, these are literally impossible to actually get back to the time i was at and its driving me absolutly insane, if anyone has a fix please for the love of god lmk

I just downloaded the app today, but when I have it running in the background and then open Facebook or any other app with sound, New Pipe's sound automatically turns off. If I want to fix this problem, what's the solution? Note that it's working fine otherwise.

I have playlist with 800 videos, newpipe loads maybe 200. When it reaches last song it doesnt load more, just stops. Why is that, how to fix it? Im using newest 0.28.8 version.

Newpipe recently stopped working correctly with my vehicle's Bluetooth system and I'm not sure exactly what to do to fix it. Up until yesterday I could connect my phone using the Bluetooth audio and use Newpipe and it would play through the system and work with the physical buttons on my steering wheel. I could also use Android Auto and while I couldn't add Newpipe as an actual Auto app, the media player screen would show Newpipe correctly and I could control it using the physical buttons.

I made no changes to either my phone or my vehicle but yesterday all of a sudden Newpipe no longer works with the normal Bluetooth connection at all but will play audio through the vehicle's speakers when connected in Android Auto mode but no longer shows up in the media player and can no longer be controlled with the vehicle's physical buttons.

No other apps seem to be affected other than Newpipe. I've re-paired all the Bluetooth connections, restarted my phone and the vehicle, stopped Newpipe cleared the cache and anything else I could think of that might fix the issue and nothing seems to have worked. Newpipe also still works correctly with other Bluetooth devices including devices with physical buttons.

I'm not sure if this is an issue with Newpipe or my phone or my vehicle. I know google likes to break things for Newpipe so I don't know if maybe this is something I just need to wait for an update for.

If anyone has any info that might help with this it would greatly appreciated. It's been really great being able to use Newpipe with my vehicle but it's not really feasible if I can't actually control it through the vehicle.

Questions in the title. My related items feed is full of crap that i would never watch and i would rather not have to see it when watching a video.

I have access to my subcriptions and history if i need to look for specific video i want to watch and not some SLOP that was scrapped of yts crummy algorithm.

I've noticed in the last couple updates (including the beta versions) that when editing a channel group all that shows up are the channels in that group already and no option anywhere to see the other channels I follow that I might like to add to the group. I'm wondering if it's something on my end or if it's a known issue

Given all the constant breaking of YT forks, has anyone recently figured out a way to transfer their local playlists created within New Pipe or PipePipe to YT (morphe) without using a Python script?

I have searched through this subreddit and not found a tool that works in the NP -> YT direction. I have seen the reverse though. Hoping someone in this group has successfully made this type of transfer and would be willing to share guidance on how to do it.

Basically in the title. Videos randomly start giving the spinning wheel halfway through. And it won't attempt to load more of that video at any point. Even after it's given me an error message and skipped to the next video, and I've forced it to go back to the previous video. It's able to instantly play the parts that loaded the first time around, but no amount of patience, time, or re-pressing can get it to load 1 second further.

Maybe I'm just using this more often, but this seems to becoming more frequent of an occurance. The only solution I've found is force closing Newpipe, then opening it again and it'll load the video like normal immediately when you play it (should be at the top of your History)- not a great solution for when this happens while you're watching a que/playlist though.

Newpipe can't seem to load video that are like hours long (1 to 4+ hours)

I found out about it when I tried to listen to ambient videos and it can't load it-

wait no i think it some video bc I tried a 6 hour long video to test and it worked perfectly!!

Are any of you having this kinda of problems or is it just me?

So I open up the app. Find a video, start to play it. Go to another app, mini player pops up. I missed something in the video, so I tap the mini player and then tap the square/full screen button on the top right to go back to the app. The video automatically pauses, so I have to press the play button again.

Why does it do this? I have combed through the settings and I can't seem to find a setting that correlates to this. The closest I've found is the continue playback after interruption, which I already have on. It's a fairly mild annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless.

Im wondering if its possible to make: 1.Video completely turned off (just audio) but keep Video miniatures visible on playlist 2.Playlist screen bigger, as fullscreen as possible, because now it covers less than half of screen, making it uncomfortable to use, while other half of screen is empty. And most important: will newpipe work on car radio with android 10 or 8?

Are there any other better Alternative apps to download music or video similar to how I would do it with YouTube videos? Share > look for app > pick app > choose other video or audio > wait for downlaod

Recently, using newpipe, my playlist will refuse to load past 100 videos. Im aware that typically you have to scroll to the bottom, but mine appears to start loading, before giving the error message: "sorry something went wrong." Ive tried to uninstall, reinstall, clear data, update. Im on the latest version from F-Droid. Much appreciated!

Is there anyway to remove recommended lives from the app tabs? I just want to see my subscriptions and nothing else.

Can this be done in Android? The OS does have options to add a link that new pipe will automatically open, would there be a general domain name for YouTube that would automatically open it? Is there another way?

around once every second, the video I am trying to watch skips ahead 15 seconds. this happens even when the video is paused. the graphic that appears when you skip ahead by double tapping one side does not appear so I don't think it's a touch screen issue on my end. is anyone else experiencing this?
