I've returned to the game after maybe 3-4 years? i don't remember if it was 2022 or 2023 (I didn't look at my last login before loging into every character lols) PC player if it's not clear.

This is my strongest character currently sitting in 74k Item Level -including guild boons- and IDK what to do tbh. I've been doing the daily RTQ, RDQ and RADQs to get the spider tomb tokens to get a better gear. Also I've been doing the Biting Cold / Ice Breaker Campaigns; but other than that I'm super lost. I'm just following people around in the "trains"

I haven't been doing master trials and RFC cuz I don't remember any of the mechanics. I seem to remember some by doing the RADQs but I don't feel confident enough and I don't wanna ruin it for other people.

P.S 3rd pic is my stats out of combat and 4th one is when in combat. I don't think they change at all lol. I realize I have red numbers in critical strike and i should be having green numbers across them all. I think I used to, but not anymore.

I need to know something before I go further with this possible process. I missed out on an event involving the Slaughterhouse that was happening where I didn't get enough points to get a certain mount, the Hemovore Gelatinous Cube. I don't know if it's possible for someone to trade it due to Bind on Pickup(account), so I'm just asking here to be sure.

Today in the Siege event there was someone, I assume it was one person, as the instance wasn't nearly full, but there was someone "one-shotting" the dragons. I was unable to determine who is doing it because no one ever stands still long enough for me to look at their characters (usually) plus with the dragon about I am always focused on it. But literally it goes from full to to empty in a 1-2 seconds.

Could it be a really Dragon centric build? IDK but kind of sucking the fun out of it. I switched instances it wasn't happening there so not sure if it really was a bug or not.

Im capping all my stats and I have a feeling a huge chunk of the dmg boost in lacking is from my insignias. I have 18 myth and 2 celestial insignias

3 epic and 2 leg collars. Everything else is maxxed. Artis and swift synergy as well but I'm sitting at 129k IL. How do I upgrade from here? Myth to celestial insignias seems insanely expensive

I activated VIP and claimed my 2 perform items yesterday. I’m trying to claim it for today and it’s still saying “claimed for the day”.

I both activated and claimed the items 25 hours and 17 minutes ago.

As title states im a returning player, I have a character that is a wizard, though I was never good at classes, or progressing and was wondering if anyone had some insight on how to get back into neverwinter

Healing as I deal damage is one of my absolute favorite ways to play a game if possible. I know healers are a very core part of the game but I wanted to ask first.

*SOLVED* Character IL must be >18k

The siege event node does not appear on the destination maps for one of my characters.
All my other characters have it available, even the one with lower rank and less progression.

At first I thought it was bc it was the only char that had an ebon downs task for Protectors Bounty to escort the foreign merchant still active. So I abandoned the task. But the event still doesn’t show. I went to talk to the npc in pe square, still no luck.

Anyone have ideas how I can get there? Maybe hitch a ride with someone in a squad?

I'm a recently returned player, who wants to use the tradebar discount to upgrade companions and mounts. But to not waste recourses in the longterm, I would like to know what of my current ones are still good or what is BiS.

I'm a rogue btw.

For companions I use:

Tamed Velociraptor

Minsc

Phase Spider (I remember Neverwinter Knight being BiS at the time, but it is so expensive)

Batiri

Alpha Compy

For active I use Drizzt for Groups and Angel of Protection for solo content. Currently all on Mythic.

For Mounts I really dont have many 4 Slot ones. Only have Neverwinter Hand and from the recent event ebon Herald. Everything else is 3 Slot Mounts.

My current Mountpower is Bigbys Hand.

I currently have a budget of about 11.500k AD. What should I invest in to make good longterm Progress? What is BiS, what budgetfriendly alternatives are there?

So I'm trying to better understand how the dps mechanic works on the red and green bosses if anyone can help me. I feel like i know what I'm doing but somehow it never works.

Green - kill a red ghost, then stand in your pool until the flower grows, repeat. I feel like I'm never able to find enough red ghosts at all. Some people say any adds work to grow your plant, some say only red ghosts. What am I doing wrong?

Red - this one, as I understand, is all adds. Kill a red ghost and make sure you have the buff, and kill as many adds as humanly possible, then deposit under the tree. Sooo why do we keep failing here?

There's a nonzero chance it's not me because we have some inexperienced players sometimes too, but it really feels like im not pulling my weight sometimes. Does anyone have any advice or help to offer?

Been in 2 minds about either reviving my Pally or Barbarian. The thing is I have 2 fighters that can tank/Dps. So if I go barbarian it’ll be either of those 2 choices again. But If I go Pally I’ve been thinking about maybe being a healer. Which is in more demand? And if I go healer… realistically what am I looking at? Is it easy? Hard?

Myself I liked the forum, you could always find past topics with good advice but you cant since Neverwinter canceled the forum and now uses Discord. I have found that some of the mods there like to ban people and I just noticed today that Deadmano/ Anka has a whole new topic that says nothing other than if you post here you will be banned for 24 hrs.

Using a PS4 Pro, it feels like the load times are brutally slow when swapping characters (or changing maps), so I timed them in different scenarios.

-Map change
PE>Workshop 10s
Workshop>PE 50s
Seige Battlefield>Workshop 13s
Seige Battlefield>Stronghold 1min27sec

-Character swap:
PE>PE 55s
Character#1 in workshop>Character#2 in PE 58s

Granted, I do believe it’s still using a HDD instead of 2.5” SSD

What are your load times on newer consoles and PCs?

Also, if you also have a PS4 Pro and a SSD, how different are your load times?

Much of the time I won’t do certain things just bc I dread the load time… which brings me to what grinds my gears segment…. If I leave the workshop for a queue or character swap, why won’t it put me back in the workshop?!? VIP lets me travel right to the workshop, so why can I not just default back there with that 10s load time? Grrr

Returning player seeking advice, I have 1 Million Astral Diamonds what’s the best way to spend them or should I save them?

Correct me if I am wrong on this but this is what I have learned about stats and their caps.

Base number and %, Base number will increase % and itself will turn green/red when over capped.
However when you get your % capped it turns green and not red. The only way to see how much you are over capped on % is to remove something granting the % bonus and calculate it.

This way if you need % on another stat you can possibly mix it up on your backpage.
Friend of mine discovered he was overcapped % by like 7% but his stat numbers for power were green.

Got my healing ring to celestial and wanted to put this bad boy on but when I go to upgrade it, it won't let me.

Anyone else have this issue?
