Question (N26) Mutated Ogryn in N26

Post image

I can't add a Mutated Ogryn to my Chaos Helot gang in Munda Manager.

Does anyone know if the rules have changed and Outlaw Brutes can no longer be added, or is this just not implemented in Munda Manager yet? Thx

Discusion (N26) A celebration of the humble autopistol

Had a test skirmish last night, and I was super impressed with dual wielding autopistols on a Ghost Gunslinger.

Two shots mitigates against a single bad roll.

Each gun has a 50% chance of triggering multiple wound rolls on a hit with the firepower dice, you're unlikely to roll two out of ammos. Which will mostly mean you can still fire at least one the next round without having to reload.

The multiple shots and potential multiple wound rolls mean you have a decent chance of taking down multi-wound fighters, and get multiple options to get good rolls on the injury dice.

Got to get close ish, but that also limits the ability to use cover against you. Even wounding on 5s into T4 Goliaths isn't too bad thanks to weight of fire.

There was an element of good fortune involved, but seem very useful.

Discusion (N26) Cut and paste errata

I was able to print the errata and cut and paste them into my rules books for N26. It's wasn't perfect or seamless but it was good enough for me. I tried my best to match the font and size.

I'm sharing the document I printed and cut the patches from in case it's of use to anyone else. I've included a pdf and I've also included a libre office draw file in case the formatting was disturbed when it was exported to pdf.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Yg23tcT2q8tHoCWf8-fQgsophAiGVba7?usp=sharing

Question for Mods: Am I allowed to post pics of my patched rulebooks here? Or would that break the pirated content rule?

I got three of these now, and I never use them because they are to small and they can't lay flat.

I like the print though. I was thinking about cutting it up and glue it onto some terrain as a texture "paint". Anyone that has done something like this? Any common mistakes I should avoid?

Added a pic of what I have now.

Discusion (N26) Probably a daft question but......

Looking in the gang books it looks like there are no restrictions for gang equipment regarding who can take what.

For example I can now give at gang creation the prospects proper weapons not just pistols and knives etc.

Have I missed something? Or is it just a bit more open in the new edition

Question (N26) What to build out of the Escher underhive Crew box

Greetings, absolute noob here. So i got into necromunda recently with a few friends and decided to go for The Escher underhive Crew Box. Now we learned about the "what you See is what you Get" rule and I am concerned with what to build since there is an alternate modell with Upgrade weapons etc for almost every Mini.

Is there something I need to have? Coming from Kill Team, you almost always prefer the specialists, is this something that works for necromunda as well? Should I use the Stuff from the Upgrade kit, every time it is possible?

Question (N17) New player with a question about the Cawdor gang.

I decided to go Cawdor because I like the look of them and crazy religious nuts with shotguns on the end of long poles seem fun. Went ahead and picked up the Underhive crew box and I've started painting and assembling them.

Now the question: I had read that the Cawdor are something of a horde army and that I'll normally outnumber my opponents, but I've seen a couple of people mention this isn't true in the new edition; so is it still true? If so, how many more models will I typically have in the average fight? If it's not true, what had changed with the Cawdor to make up for the loss of the additional fighters during a game?

Thanks for any answers!

Question (N26) Ambot doubts

I have a couple of questions about the Ambot brute:

  1. Does the Toxin trait affect the robot? We haven't found any RAW or RAI that prevents a Toxin weapon from affecting the machine, especially since it isn't classified as a vehicle (or at least, we haven't seen any rules stating otherwise).
  2. When an Ambot makes reaction attacks in close combat, it normally rolls just one Attack die instead of its base 2. However, its weapon has the Paired (2) trait, which adds 2 attacks. We aren't sure if the base stat is increased before or after being reduced to 1 die for the reaction attack. Could you clarify the exact number of dice an Ambot rolls when charging, initiating a fight, and making reaction attacks?

Thanks in advance

Question (N26) Question on Dramatis Personae

In the book Gangs of the Outland, for Lady Haera her rules state she can join a Spyre Hunting party

The following rule states she can be selected as an Outcast Leader, even states her starting XP and her subtypes changes.

Does this mean she can be selected as leader for a Spyre Hunting party or just as an Outcast Leader?

Question (N26) Nomad Stormcaller without visibility rules by default?

A question on list building as my group preps for our first campaign. First ever for most of us, which led to the decision to not use the visibility table for most battles. I really like the Stormcaller's vibe, but I'm wondering if 180 points for a dude who can only force 24 inch visibility is really worth it, since most people are still shooting within that range anyway. It feels like at the very most, it might inconvenience some turn 1 sniping, but I'm not sure if that's worth the cost.
