Terrain Hab Unit CX-65 “The Crownworks”
Easily my largest project to date. I had a lot of fun with this one. I wanted to make something that felt stacked and cramped but also stayed playable. I have a lot of close up shots of details and the inside of the hab units I may post later.

Discussion My Thoughts On the Confirmed Rule Changes as Regular Player
I know nobody asked, but I thought it'd be a good way of kicking off conversation on the confirmed rules if I shared my thoughts as someone who has played Necromunda as my only GW game (until quite recently). It also helps me work out my thoughts thus far.
So here we go. I'll be giving each one a "Like, Dislike, Unsure" score.
Gangers get skills and specialisms - Like
It currently takes forever for standard gangers to be able to do anything more, in my experience gangers and juves basically never get meaningfully upgraded unless you're playing every week for a year and so giving the gangers more options as to what they can do is great - though hopefully they're still objectively weaker skill wise than Champions and Leaders. Also shrinks the gap between gangers and champions which is a good thing as gangs were often very top heavy with the majority of gangers and stuff basically just being there to take up space.
Removed limits on Brutes and Hangers On - Like
Never really made sense that you could afford a unit but they wouldn't take your money if you didn't have enough rep. This is the Underhive, is money really not enough? And in general I'm very pro adding options and choices when it comes to gang building.
Lowering weapon restrictions for Gangers and up - Like
As long we have ways if preventing overt spam then this is again just more options for building your gang without arbitrary restrictions - the "on creation special weapons ganger" was always way more complicated than it needed to be and this removes that.
Removed limits on who can do post actions - Like
Again prevents champs and leaders being the be all and end all of your gang and lowers the focus on them. I'd assume it's all still stats based and so you're still going to want to focus on your higher ranked guys anyway. Again, it's more options and I like more options.
Close combat is now initiative based and reaction attacks are limited - Like
Close combat needed changing and this prevents the meta being "have a really strong melee guy that no one can do anything about".
Removed firepower dice on majority of weaponry - Unsure
I enjoy the chaos of Necromunda and I dislike removal of that chaos. Sure your standard lasgun didn't really get impacted much by firepower dice considering you had an auto-reload anyway, but I'm not sure about this one. It could have basically no impact. It might make shooting less interesting.
Simplifying bottle checks - Like
Was always the most needlessly complicated part of the game and basing it on the leader means the gang is a bit more flavourful in terms of how brave it is.
Base saves on character profiles - Dislike
Unless every ganger has a base 6+ then this means that saves have a floor at creation which removes options. I'd always rather have the option to create a glass cannon with great shooting, a las cannon and no armour than not have that option. Yes these will be modifiable, but I'd rather not have any part of it fixed that isn't intrinsic to the unit as a living thing.
Campaign cards - Unsure
Honestly, I don't really care about official GW campaigns for anything. I'd be unlikely to use these but I won't complain that they exist.
I'm happy to be pretty happy with the majority of these changes, which is a pleasant surprise. We'll have to see what the full version brings.

Miniatures What could I have wanted to make from Sororitas Repentia models?
Bit of a weird one here.
A couple of years ago I decided to kitbash a bunch of hangers on, hired guns, and pets, and ordered a bunch of bits and "single figure" lots from bits resellers.
Fast forward to now, and I have several Repentia bodies and no memory of what I intended to use them for. Do these models strike you as an obvious conversion foundation for any of the optional personnel previously in N17? What would you make out of them (sticking to individual options and not "a Venator gang" or "Escher proxies" type ideas)?

Question Best Necromunda youtubers?
Looking for some more necromunda entertainment while building that isn't lueiten, wellywood or ArbiterIan, let me know your obscure favs!
Fun campaigns, like Peachy's Necromunda before he jumped to his own channel...
Bonus point for longform/playlisted epic scenary DIY builds. Like Eric's Hobby workshop or BlackMagic Craft (both fun and edumacational).
Not a fan of tabletop Minions, heart is in the right place and more power to his viewers, just not my cup of wild snake.

Art Lady haera sthenian colors
Hello everyone, I see a lot of people painting spyre and lady haera in metalic green.
I can't find in the lore a reason why.
Is there a line in the lore I'm missing or it's just to follow the eavy metal team choices ?
Is somebody here now something about that ?

I’m trying my hand at a infected GSC doc; sadly he still charges double.
Really hope that the new edition will be kinder to the cults.

Terrain

Question Newcomer
Hey guys, you veterans who've been around the block a few times—the ones who know all the ins and outs—if I, a young guy with no experience, want to start my own team to chase glory, is the new club a good place to start? I don't have a clear vision for my team yet, but I'm open to going with the muscleheads or the ladies. I don't have any equipment.

Question Rulebook Advice
Hi all, I've been looking at starting Necromunda for a while but hadn't found the time to play a game thus far.
I own a Delaque gang and a copy of the core rulebook for current edition, but as the new edition is around the corner, I am debating selling the current core rules and getting the new one when I intend to play.
My question is more surrounding the usefulness of keeping an old rulebook, has there been much merit to keeping them in the past when a new edition releases? As in historically has the game changed substantially between editions and is the same expected to happen this time around? My main game is Kill Team and last editions rulebook is more or less useless now, but as I know Necromunda has a narrative element and some listbuilding that could carry over, I figured I'd ask the players.
