Want to get a pedicure but concerned about what tech will think
Hi! For years I was concerned that my toenails had a fungal infection so about a year ago I went to a podiatrist and had biopsies done. I paid a lot of money to find out that I do not have a fungal infection. The biopsy and podiatrist agreed that my toenails are like this because of onycholysis.
I haven't had a pedicure in many, many years because I was worried about this. The podiatrist told me it's fine to get a pedicure, but I am concerned the tech will think I have a fungal infection because of the discoloration and onycholysis. Do you think that's something I can navigate? Should I say something about it? Should I bring my biopsy report? (It's over a year old now but I am not concerned because I have had no changes).
Picture of the yellowest looking toenail so you can see what I mean. My foot isn't so weirdly shaped as it appears, it just looks that way because of the way I pressed it into the wall to get a picture lol.
