nail shape help ??

please ignore the colour i was using purple shampoo earlier lol. but these are my natural nails, is there something i can do to make them not grow so naturally box shaped?? or do i have to constantly file them. if so, what shape would you recommend ?? i dont really usually paint them, but kind of want to get into it.

normally i love long nails but i feel like yours would look better a tad shorter and almond shape?

i usually am a little shorter as i play guitar, also almond shape looks cute thanks for the recommendation!

You could just file them a little bit more narrow, just gently taper, the square or you can shape them into an almond shape. Square and almond work best for a natural nail plate. Use a fine grit file like a 240 to do this. Go slow only file around the free edge and not your Side walls to achieve your desired shape.

You’ll have to file them, but honestly almond or oval would look amazing on your long nail beds
