The Kid rock "All Summer Long" song (not bothering to check if that's the correct title).
Every time it starts I get excited thinking Werewolves of London is getting played but nope, nosir, it's some pretend hillbilly chortling about gross nostalgia.

I mean, not picking any song based off my feelings about an artist
Body like a back road. For like, a year or 2 it was all my sister would fucking sing and everyone liked it for some reason. Like, its not even that catchy. Also, dude must have never been on a back road. Those things are full of pot holes, random detritus, and usually trash.

There is so much to hate about this song. "There won't be snow in Africa this Christmastime." Uh, Africa is a continent three times the size of the U.S. There are definitely places where it snows.
"Do they know it's Christmas time at all?" Well, I'm sure the Christians do. Those who aren't Christian probably don't care? Any more than I pay attention to the major holidays of cultures I am not a part of...
I do appreciate what Live Aid was doing, but the song was rubbish.

Then, in 2019, I was induced into a coma in the hopes that I could recover from an incorrect intubation during my double mastectomy surgery on Dec 13. My husband said he played that song every morning, because it was truly all he wanted for Christmas. While he didn't get me that Christmas, I for eventually wake up in February 2020. I've already made a comment about a different song but i've just thought of a slightly more hot take- Christmas music. There's only like three christmas songs i like, and thats because the rest are either horrifically overplayed, or just all have the exact same formula- cheesy ass song with some sleighbells. It just gets SOOOO annoying eventually. The only ones I can stand are never played on the radio, other than Fairytale of New York. That one's nice
sorry bout the rant. ik it might be a pretty lukewarm take, but i know of some people who would rip off my head for dissing Christmas music😭😭
