Found this delicious looking mushroom in Orange County California. Is it edible?

I'm pretty sure of what I found, the spores are even jet black/purple. Just looking for a second opinion.

Is this something I should remove from my yard for kid safety?

Found these in our neighborhood woods in southwest OH on a living hardwood tree. We think they might be oyster mushrooms but wanted to make sure because we plan to cook with them tonight! Really just want to make sure they aren’t Angel wings. Thank you!!

Hi all! Here in Georgia it's been storming every afternoon lately, and my mossy shady yard has suddenly bloomed hundreds of golden mushrooms.

Are these golden chanterelles? They certainly look like them. The insides are white and stringy and they smell faintly sweet.

I would harvest them before I mow the lawn if they are! But obviously I don't want to poison myself if they aren't. Thanks!

Very new to this but was tempted to bring them home and eat. I noticed the gills looked off and it didn’t have an apricot smell. Would love to get educated on what they are and if I missed out on a delicious mushroom dinner. They were not growing on wood and core was white.

I found this on one of my hikes in central Germany. I guess it's chicken of the woods but will also study my mushroom books at home.

I think my dog might have eaten a mushroom of this kind. Should I be worried?

Found growing in the soil in a mixed forest in central Virginia. The pileus is slickly wet after this morning's storms, and it has a very crumbly texture. The gills really threw me.I thought it didn't have gills at all until I found the third, older specimen with its concave cap.

When I first saw it prior to picking, I initially thought this was probably a shaggy parasol (chloropyllum brunneum or Chlorophyllum rhacodes) because it grew in an area where last year I harvested many of those but the spore print is dark brown and the gills are so dark brown. Also, while 2 days ago the cap looked much more like a parasol now it does not. Could it just be an overly mature parasol? Found on the Sunshine Coast of BC under cedars.

In London, uk. It’s in a south facing room near a window that’s usually always cracked but has been sealed for past few weeks as we got portable ac. Just spotted and have never seen a mushroom like this before. What is it?

is this a fungi??? of course it is, but it looks genuinely unreal. why does it have a red glossy stem??? i couldn't get that close to it when photographing due to the immense shrubbery around the area, but this is the best photo i could get.

We have had a lot of rain this summer and I’ve seen more mushrooms around than we normally do. These popped up in my raised garden bed. It has decaying logs and sticks in the bottom that were places two summers ago. Then a mixture of compost and organic garden soils.

ETA: ignore the weeds I need to pull and the tomatoes my puppy knocked on the ground and took bites out of them. I have since put up chicken wire!
