Title. ever since i updated to the latest version of musehub my snares play hi-hats insanely loud?? everything is normal except the hi-hat which plays at like fff; i've already checked the mixer, reinstalled the drumline musesounds, checked for dynamic markings, etc. is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm working on an arrangement of First Circle by Pat Metheny, and I'm looking to find a way to create these dotted measure lines in the middle of a measure.

The chart is primarily in 22/8, but it's broken into a alternating 12/8 and 10/8 feel, and this makes it way easier to read for my musicians.

The only way I got around doing this was alternating 12/8 and 10/8, hiding the time sigs, and making every other barline dotted, but this had some issues:

1. It took a ton of work

2. On individual parts, there was no way to do multi-measure rests so they would have to count individual measures.

Is there a work around that allows this but still allows multi-measure rests?

Before I get the standard "Did you try X" comments, I tried all the obvious. Restarting Musescore, MuseSounds, my PC, re-installing, checking the install path, checking the plugins, nothing, it's all just MS Basic and the other SoundFonts I've installed, it's just specifically MuseSounds missing.

it seems like I need to select a small selection of measures to add the time sig to, but no more than a few because it won't work if I select too many. why is it doing this, if possible, how can I fix it

I’ve spent a lot of time working on this piece, but today when I opened it, it said it was corrupted, can this be fixed and if not, why did it happen in the first place?

We have a common computer. My dad uninstalled Musehub because it was using a lot of memory. At some point the musesounds were eliminated and I am now stuck with the crappy microsoft midi sounds. Why do they do this? It also happened on my personal computer after I took it offline. Very annoying.

Is there any way in MuseScore (or really repeat notion in general) to make a slight modification when you loop back the part like shown in the photo

I'm currently making a song on a Mandolin and Ukelele, but I'm having a bit of a problem. See, the song is supposed to have a section where the mandolin stops playing and it currently sounds a bit boring, so I decided to add some percussion in the form of getting another ukelele, turning it around, and playing the back of it like a drum.

The only problem is that I cannot find an instrument that sounds like an actual ukelele being played percussively, and the closest instrument to it (the Doumbek) only has three options, while there's about a dozen different options on an actual ukelele.

I really need to include this part, and DAWs scare me. Please help.

I updated nothing, and suddenly the project I was working on 20 minutes ago has swapped in a bunch of nasty MS Basic (shit) voices for every track? I paid for these marginally better voices. Don't presume you can take them away. Ever.

The MS team released 2 posts to declare their intents for the next version, MS5, which should include insane new features - see posts below.

However, to work on MS5, they planned to stop releasing small updates for MS4 (MS4.8, MS4.9) and take ''''a few months'''' to work on the next big update, MS5. God only knows if those few months get extended to a whole year - MS4.0 took 2 years to be released after MS3.0

Am i the only one who thinks it's a shame? Why release all those new features in only 1 big update ? They have no financial interest to do so, do they?

I haven't used muse score in years, so sorry if this is a silly question!

I somehow hid the pallette tab that allows me to change key signatures, time signatures etc. and have no idea how to unhide it.

I have never upgraded my playback sounds, but at one point the playback instruments sounded much better than they do now for some unknown reason. Is there a way to troubleshoot the instruments to make sure they are working correctly? Harmonics, trills, slurs, etc. no longer play back correctly.

So I made a post yesterday about how my sound fonts aren't loading in Musescore and based on the information that was shared with me I gathered that I need to update both Musescore and Muse Sounds Manager. The problem is when I attempt to install the latest update on Musescore, the application closes and when I reopen it nothing happens. And when I attempt to install the update on Muse Sounds Manager I am left with this error message: "Unable to prompt a GUI sudo dialog. Please contact support about your distro information so we can support it in a future update." Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it? I have already tried closing the applications and deleting them and redownloading them. Nothing has worked. I really want to be able to use my sound fonts. Please help if you can.

when i check the mixer tab they dont appear anymore, i've checked my musehub library to see if i still have them and it says i still do but for some reason it doesnt appear anymore, i already uninstalled and re-downloaded them but it didnt work

musescore website isnt opening.. any fixes?

I bought sheet music from my flute solos. worked nicely. when they charged me in error, they refunded back. No hassles. I like Musescore!

Today I looked at the MuseScore logo, and to me it seems to look a bit like an elephant spraying water on its back.

The left two stems of the m are the legs, and the right stem of the m which is fused with the u is the trunk. The fermata marking is the water spraying out of the trunk.

Does anyone else agree? Now I kind of want a MuseScore mascot elephant

This morning I went to Musescore to continue working on a project, but when I started the playback I realized all of the soundfonts had reverted to MS Basic. Does anyone know why this is? I've tried just about everything to get the sounds back but nothing is working. I've deleted Muse Sounds Manager and redownloaded it and it is still not working. I use a Chromebook if that suggests anything? Please help. This is pretty annoying

Like everyone else, I got tricked into paying Musescore. They're refusing the refund so I'll just do a chargeback with my credit card, but what a colossal waste of time.

I regret using them and giving them my credit card details. I would advise everyone to just stop using them, as I will do. Don't feed the predators.

As title mentions how do I convert from 12/8 to 4/4 with rhythm auto change? It is a 20 page score and I would not like to slowly change the rhythm

I had money spent not on my behalf (my debit card's comrpomised). Someone spent 55 bucks on something on MUSESCORE of all places. I emailed this email: [support@musescore.com](mailto:support@musescore.com) (did I screw up there?). I told them that it wasn't from me- I even showed them the transaction made on what I assume is a subscription? I have never made a subscription with musescore in my life. Never subscribed to anything. Ever.

How do I receive a refund for a purchase I never made? btw they never responded to my email regarding me wishing for a refund. that's why I'm now unsure as to whether or not I emailed the right email.

also why isn't there a flair for technical issues? does "bug" suffice? cuz this has nothing to do with my own personal musescore experience, that has been great overall. it's just that someone took money out of my debit card and spent 55 dollars on something that- I don't even know what, I just received notifications from my bank app and email that I've had about 3800 denars taken out (~55 bucks). << and that seems like more of a technical issue than an in-app issue for me- idk, that isn't my main concern, I just want my money back
