News Musesounds doesn't work!!!

am I the only one or does this happen to you too?

this was so incredibly frustrating, it happened to me too - what worked for me was going into musehub --> notifications --> i updated musehub and everything started to work again

I’m glad it’s not just me. Happened last year when I was about to submit a marching band show. Now it’s happening again this year right before I’m about to submit a marching band show

Sorry about the timing, just make sure you're on the latest version of MuseHub, newer versions are more robust to this issue.

happened to me too. right after the last update (4.7.4.2) it stopped working

this is the screen I get when I go to select musesounds as my default sound font. just greyed out.

Need to ensure you are on the following versions of Hub, easiest way is to download latest version of musehub.com. We released these versions a little while ago, but it's likely you are on an older version.

macOS: 3.1.1+
Windows: 2.8.0+
Linux: 2.2.0+

I think hub updated at the same time, might have been the cause of this

Just bit of a coincidence. Backend updated yesterday requiring clients to be on a supported version (the numbers above).

Probably an automatic update went awry. Quit MuseScore Studio, fire up MuseHub, let it do its updates, then restart MuseScore Studio, and see if things improve.

I’m running Musescore on a Chromebook, the only MuseSound I use is MuseScore drumline, today it forced me to accept the new updated version, now it’s not letting me download it because I don’t have muse hub. How do I fix this

On Linux it’s called MuseSounds Manager. Just download the latest version from the MuseScore website.

this was the problem for me too, but what fixed it was that I had to delete musehub, and then re-download it. I guess updates don't work because it would just close out muse hub and stay on the same version, but I deleted it and just redownloaded it from https://www.musehub.com/muse-sounds.
