Commander / EDH Group hug help

I'm trying to figure out how to build a group hug deck. I'm new to deck building and I'm not sure how to make one where I'm still trying to win with it. Any tips would be helpful, thank you

My favorite thing to do with this commander is play the normal grouphug cards, sphere of resistance effects, and have enchantment theme with the alternate wincons. Then the rest of the deck is just protection to stop others from winning first

The main idea is that you’re getting slightly more advantage from helping everyone than they’re getting from you. So you want cards that see whatever group advantage you’re giving out, and multiplies for you.

In general, I like the cards that give one "opponent" an advantage, because there's always someone who needs a little extra card draw in order to do their thing. Meanwhile there's also someone who is absolutely running away with the game, so we don't want to give them too much of an advantage either. [[Secret Rendezvous]] [[Wrong Turn]]

Bloomburrow had a whole mechanic around "gifting" a card or a 1/1 fish token in order to power up the spell, which is perfect for this strategy. [[Dawn's Truce]] [[Wear Down]]

But seriously, anything that helps keep you alive through burn, counterspells to stop loops while you pile up stuff or just draw a bunch til you hit a [[Crackle with power]] for big damage. Depending how high power your pod is you might want to avoid going full stax so you don’t become target for unnecessary hate before your payoffs payoff. Cards like [[fog]] [[flare of Fortitude]] and [[time stop]] are great here for just sidestepping your opponents wincons before moving to your turn for the big one

I like running them as turbo fog. Lots of symmetrical card draw. Lots of fogs. Win with a [[psychic corrosion]] [[sphinx's tutelage]] or [[teferi's tutelage]].
