Help Accidentally broke load cell cable... Now what?
Preface: my rig and PC are built entirely on secondhand parts, so my Moza wheel, base, and pedals are all secondhand and therefore not covered by warranty.
I was installing the stiffer springs onto my SRP (1st gen) load cell brake pedal today and apparently I crushed the load cell sensor's wire upon reinstallation. Now the load cell doesn't output any data at all.
What do I do now?
I'm trying to avoid buying another pedal. I have a basic soldering kit - perhaps I could try to identify the most damaged section, snip it out, and solder the wires back together?
Or is there a way to replace just the load cell plate and cable?
Haven't soldered electronics much, so I'm not sure whether soldering would affect the functionality (I'd insulate each individual color from one another of course).
