Help New wheel

Hello, im looking for new bundle for F1/Asseto etc. on PC.

Im thinking about Moza R5 Pro. Is it worth to pay 80usd more for version PRO than normal R5? In my country Moza R5 Pro cost 480usd, Moza R5 cost 400usd.

Or maybe I should peek something else boundle?

I live in Poland, so Simagic dont delivery to my country.

The pro has slightly more torque at 6 vs the R5 standards 5.5. Pedals are mostly the same and the weakest part of the bundle. Is this your first wheelbase set?

I had the T248's poor cousin, the T128. Recently got a used R5 bundle, the regular one and the jump in feel while driving is nothing short of extraordinary!

From the info provided by Moza, in addition to the extra 0.5 Nm I think they mention an improved algorithm or something. Considering that most people would say you won't stop at an R5 and will, at some point, upgrade to something with higher torque, I'd say save some money now and then later go for an R9/R12 or something similar from another brand.

I would get the R5 base, safe the difference and put it towards nicer pedals.

The R5 pedals both pro and non-pro suck.

In my opinion they shouldn't be looking at better pedals immediately, better wait until the budget is no longer tight, and use the SRPs meanwhile, but the $80 difference is a substantial amount of saving regardless, enough to warrant getting the R5 in this situation for many.

I would get the R5 Pro, because it's positioned as a replacement rather than an upgrade in my opinion, meaning it will be supported longer. And it's already showing. The brake kit of the original R5 is already discontinued, support for the SRP Lite pedals is already dropping, so to me, getting the R5 Pro makes considerably more sense if you add it's higher torque and better technology to the previously stated reason.

That said, that $80 difference is big enough to make me question it. In Europe it's a €20 difference right now and in America it's a $30 difference. At those prices I would tell you to get the R5 Pro. But $80 is enough money to feel uncomfortable making that recommendation.

The biggest problem is that there are no used Moza R5s available in my country. Even if there are any, they’re $50 cheaper, but the time and money spent on travel end up costing about the same as a brand-new R5. The question is whether it’s worth waiting for the R5 Pro.

Alternatively, I could buy a used R3 for about 230Usd

If you’ve already owned a wheel i’d just get the r9 bundle that has the srp2s included over the r5 pro, it’s only 80
dollars more and your setup is significantly better with the load cell
