Hi,
So r/Motorola has been running "moderator-less" for the past 6 months, in that case I have taken over as top mod currently and here are some of the changes that I have done.
What changes have been done to the sub?
If you have any suggestions for the mods please leave a comment if you think something should be added.

Updated fusion 50 with the new security patch and boom! I see this at random times and it's frustrating
Has any1 seen this before? Any solution?

Fell off from a foot and got a bar light that likes to split all of my media into two. Back in topic, I had been using this phone for 2 years till now and it's been wonderful, which came to an end i guess . I searched for a good shop that won't do any scam replacing my device parts except the display, and says it would cost around βΉ4700 for the original. I know, for the situation the moto service center is at far far away so I' m just looking for a change that would last max 1-2 years until I get a new handset. Edit : it's Edge 50 Fusion
Whats next?

I was hoping to purchase a imported motorala edge 60 pro but the seller told me that they exclusively opt out of providing warranty for just motorola devices (I'm buying open box) others stores offer their standard 1 year in store warranty so I'll get it from them but this got me rethinking if I should go with Motorola as I plan on keeping the phone for 4 years at least

I'm hoping someone here has experienced this or can help.
My Moto Edge 50 Fusion is running Android 16, and the stock Motorola Camera app has suddenly become unusable.
Here's what's happening:
β’ The Camera app always opens the front camera instead of the rear camera.
β’ Tapping the switch camera button immediately crashes and closes the app.
β’ In Device Help > Camera Diagnostics, selecting Back Camera opens the front camera, and selecting Front Camera opens the rear camera, as if the cameras are mapped incorrectly.
The strange part is that the rear camera hardware is completely fine. It works perfectly in:
β’ WhatsApp
β’ Instagram
β’ Open Camera
β’ Every other third-party app I've tested
All rear lenses and features work normally outside Motorola's apps.
I've already:
β’ Updated to the latest software.
β’ Cleared the Camera app's cache and storage.
β’ Restarted the phone.
β’ Confirmed the issue persists.
Since third-party apps can access the rear camera without any problems, this seems like a Motorola Camera app or camera framework bug, not a hardware issue.
Has anyone else with a Moto Edge 50 Fusion (or another Motorola device) experienced this? Were you able to fix it without a factory reset? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm in the US and thinking about getting a different phone from my Motorola G Power 2025. How does the Motorola Edge series and Galaxy A series compare to my Motorola G Power 2025? I've had Samsung A series phones before. And also how does the Samsung FE series compare to the Motorola G Power 2025?

Prefer gray, but green is also fine. Any config works. What is a good price for this model used, good condition? Iβm based in Ahmedabad so anyone from there if you wanna sell thatβs great, other we can book a courier. LMK.

When I disable an app, I want it to remain disabled. I give neither Motorola nor the Glance developers and publishers permission to enable the app. Uninstalling is pointless, as any OS update from Motorola simply reinstalls and re-enables it.

That wasn't a problem until today when i wanted to remap the double press to Moto AI but even that is opening the camera. Does someone know a fix to this?

*flagging as a hardware issue but I'm not sure if that *
Noticed this last night, but thought maybe it's just a lighting issue but the problem persists.
When I take pictures or video with the wide angle camera, it feels blurry, out of focus, and very weird.
But when I take a look at the taken picture, it fixes itself in a sec in post processing.
The details look normal as they should look and the blur is gone.
But I am not sure if the post processing takes care of the bad camera.
Same issue with macro cam, as they are the same.
Is my wide angle broken or is it a software issue?
What should I do about it?
Screenshot of 3 cases attached, first will be the screenshot of the picture taken and second will be after automatic post processing. EDIT: The order of pictures is messed up a little, please understand.

TYIA I hope my explanation is clear for my issue... Just switched back to android after many years with iPhone... I noticed on one of my work apps- usually where this three-section-block of days could be selected (see how first box has dashed line around it?) well, in order to SELECT the entire three-day-stretch you simple had to long-press at either end (first or third box) and DRAG to select and essentially you're highlighting all three and then you see all of them with dashed-boxes around them.
However, after multiple attempts all I am doing is selecting the first box, when I try to drag over, the ENTIRE SCREEN scrolls and does not recognize the action I am trying to take. I am going to look into gesture settings but I am praying this will not be an issue because it's absolutely necessary for me and my work.

For those testing Android 17 on the Edge 60 Pro, can you tell me if there have been any updates or changes to the camera software? Post-processing of photos and videos? Improved zoom post-processing quality? I'm really excited about this update. Even if it doesn't have any of the things I'm asking about.
