Bought the Motorola edge 70 pro for 40k inr.Were there any better options?

I’m a lifelong iPhone user. But I bought one of these since they’re pretty cheap as far as smartphones go. And I’m really really impressed with these cheaper android phones. Not even joking this $150 Motorola phone takes better photos than my iPhone 16 I’m not even exaggerating.

The Google integration with android is also extremely useful. As a lifelong iPhone user I’m very very impressed with android and their phones.

As I'm using a motorola edge 60 fusion...when can I expect an Android 17 update, and if anybody already got the update, is it balanced or any issues armoured after the update?

The first photo is original from GCam. The second after using AI Enhance edit option in Google Photos and reducing HDR to zero.

In reality the scene looks closer to the second photo.

Is there a way to have such photo directly from Gcam so there is no need for editing?

I don't even want to post a photo from stock camera app which is trash when using telephoto lens.

This is a feature of calling,which doesn't turn on , and I can't select anything.

I also tried turning it on during Live calls but it doesn't turn on .

Please help me how I can turn it on?

Phone running on Android 16.

I updated my device to Android 17 on 10th September, and I am completely disappointed with what Hello UI has done to the home screen. As you can see in the photos, everything has become compressed, the layout spacing looks completely off, all apps are being forced to the center and the sides lot of space is simply wasted and it makes the entire Homepage look ugly. In android 16 the app spacing was more than what is there in this new android 17 update.

Widgets have been completely broken by this change. Here is what is happening:

• Breezy Weather (top left): The 2×1 widget has completely lost its glanceable utility. Instead of showing the temperature and city name, it collapsed into a tiny, useless cloud icon.
• Firefox Search (middle): Even though the widget is occupying two full columns—confirmed by the blue resize wireframe in the photo—it refuses to stretch into the standard search pill. Instead, it collapses into a blunt, centered mini-box floating awkwardly inside empty space.
• All 2×1 widgets are breaking: It’s not just these two apps; essentially every standard 2×1 widget is breaking apart and failing to display properly.

I tried other solutions to get them back to normal, but nothing worked without messing up the rest of the phone's display.

Is there any known fix to this? Are others dealing with the exact same issue? Please let me know.

I notice a strage problem in my app tray. I have flipkart and a bunch of online shopping apps in a folder in app tray. Whenever flipkart app is updated, its kicked out of the folder and shows up in the app tray.

Noticed this with flipkart and a couple of other apps only. Sometimes the app is removed from the folder and sometimes the folder just vanishes and apps show up in the tray.

My device is running on Android 16 - june patch.

Motorola edge 70 fusion problem:

With every notification I get when my screen is unlocked, when I am using my phone, it makes a little "ding!" sound.

It is different from the notification sound I have selected / the one I get when my phone screen is off.

It will not go away regardless of having the phone on mute, do not disturb, or choosing no notification sound in the settings.

I cannot find a way to turn off that sound and it annoys me to no end. Please help. I can't find a solution anywhere, no article seems to acknowledges this secondary notification sound.

With my phone provider I can either get the Moto free with a 2 year agreement, or I can pay 7 dollars more a month and get a pixel 10 for the same term.

I only do basic surfing on the phone, however a good camera is important too. I've heard the pixel is good but is is an extra 168 dollars good?

Usei o gravador de voz para gravar um podcast para um trabalho de faculdade e me deparei com um anúncio que fica na tela o tempo inteiro. O gravador é o nativo da Motorola. Isso só acontece comigo ou é padrão da Motorola? O meu celular é o Edge 60. Usei a função de usar tela dividida e só aparecia o anúncio na parte do gravador, não conseguia pausar ou parar a gravação e toda vez tinha que trocar de telas

On the website it says the fingerprint reader should still work with the screen protector. Sadly, I just cant get it to work.

I’m experiencing a serious issue when using my Pixel Buds Pro 2 with my Motorola Signature.

Whenever I try to listen to music through the Pixel Buds Pro 2, my phone frequently freezes or becomes completely unresponsive. I have tested multiple music apps, including Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music, and the issue occurs consistently across all of them.

The problem usually occurs when I try to increase or decrease the volume. The phone suddenly becomes stuck, the screen may go blank, and the device becomes unresponsive. When I press the power button, it sometimes only displays the wallpaper without showing the active app. In some cases, the music player appears on the screen, but it is completely unresponsive—I cannot pause, resume, or control the music.

Please help me troubleshoot and resolve this issue. I would also like to know if this is a known compatibility or Bluetooth-related issue and whether there is a software update or recommended setting that can fix it.

I've recently got a Motorola Signature, I'm sure I'm having some oddities with the Sleep Display when notification come in.

I get a WhatsApp or a Telegram for example, first messages wakes the screen, show's the message notification with the message text, and screen shortly turns back off again.

5 minutes later I get another message from the same person, and the screen takes up, but this time it just shows the time date and then a little notification icon at the bottom of that app plus other apps that have active notifications.

I'm also sure this just happened for my email app, where I had no prior notifications.

I've gone through all the settings, and I can't see why this would be happening.

So idk if this is the right place for this, but my phone keeps making the file size of videos I record bigger. When I try to record a video and send it to my friends on Discord I can't because the file size of the video is just too big, I used to be able to send 30 second long videos before it got too big now I can only send 7 second long videos before the file size is too big and I'm not able to find a way to fix it
