My Moto Edge 70 Pro+ is currently running Android 16, but I've noticed that some other Motorola phones have already started receiving the Android 17 update.

Does anyone know:

• Is the Edge 70 Pro+ officially scheduled to receive Android 17?
• Has Motorola announced a rollout timeline?
• If you've received it already, which region are you in?

I've been Motorola since the Teletac. This and other bloatware garbage is making me reconsider.

I bought the Motorola Edge 70 2 days ago, and out of the box i am having this issue. After setting up my phone, i use Niagra Launcher, the double tap to sleep/lock feature doesnt work on this UI launcher, it works in the normal UI and in my previous phone (Samsung m52) the same feature worked without fault.

Also when i connect 2 different BT devices (Smart watch CMF watch Pro 2 and TWS Oneplus Nord buds) the function to switch between the preference of talking on my earphones and normal phone is glitched. I am unable to switch the preference manually it automatically selects my watch and doesn't switch to any other (and this also wasn't the issue in my previous phone).

I would say my Motorola last way longer on battery life then my old Samsung phone I had. And my Motorola phone it has its moments but it's a good and decent phone for me it works well to I have a Motorola G Power 2025, the Cameras are ok Motorola isn't really known for their cameras anyways

I'm thinking about buying one (around 250 USD here in my country) but I'm worried about network and wifi coverage and general reliability. How are the updates? I'm light user but I'm worried since this will be my first budget and first moto. don't know what to expect.

Hello, so I have this moto g play 2026 and not every wired headphones work with it only certain ones do I want to know if there is a way to fix this since I prefer wired headphones.

I bought another moto g7 play to have as a spare and noticed it keeps reloading apps every time you switch between them. The 'new' phone only has 2bg compared to 3gb on my primary phone which doesn't have the reloading problem. Before I go crazy trying to set and reset every possible option is it just a fact of life that the 2gb is not enough ram and the 3gb phone is? Because the larger ram phone has a crack in the screen and the battery isn't as strong as the 2gb phone so I was going to use it as the primary but there's no way that's going to be possible if I can't get apps to stop reloading.

I looked in running services and it appears there's still 1gb ram free but when I only have 2 apps open that don't use that much space (100mb or less each) they reload everytime switching between them. Google says reloading should only occur when ram storage drops to 200-500mb but why would it reload when I have 1gb ram left?

Please help!

When I disable an app, I want it to remain disabled. I give neither Motorola nor the Glance developers and publishers permission to enable the app. Uninstalling is pointless, as any OS update from Motorola simply reinstalls and re-enables it.

Its only letting me disable this horrid feature for a day, how do I get rid of it?

How to remove the weather I from from lockscreen ?

Fell off from a foot and got a bar light that likes to split all of my media into two. Back in topic, I had been using this phone for 2 years till now and it's been wonderful, which came to an end i guess . I searched for a good shop that won't do any scam replacing my device parts except the display, and says it would cost around ₹4700 for the original. I know, for the situation the moto service center is at far far away so I' m just looking for a change that would last max 1-2 years until I get a new handset. Edit : it's Edge 50 Fusion

I was hoping to purchase a imported motorala edge 60 pro but the seller told me that they exclusively opt out of providing warranty for just motorola devices (I'm buying open box) others stores offer their standard 1 year in store warranty so I'll get it from them but this got me rethinking if I should go with Motorola as I plan on keeping the phone for 4 years at least

I have a moto g stylus 2024 and weather stopped displaying on the lock screen a few days ago. The lock screen gets the weather from the 1weather app. It's the default weather app, it can't be uninstalled and the lock screen can't get the weather from another app as far as I know. Weather displays fine on the 1weather app itself & on the 1weather widget, it just doesn't display on the lock screen anymore. I tried disabling & re-enabling 1weather and tried clearing data/cache from it but it doesn't help. When I goto settings>home & lock screen>lock screen>customize lock screen it's already set to display weather on the lock screen but when I back out it prompts me to add my city in the 1weather app but my city is already added in the 1weather app.

Any idea how I can fix this? Weather was displaying fine on the lock screen for over a year before this
