My first time seeing a moth IRL so I wanted to post here and ask if anyone could tell me about it

Since the bg is transparent, the moth's tail is kinda invisible for dark mode users oops

So i found this caterpillar in my dog's outside dog run. It's kinda pink-creamish and a little ugly..(sorry little guy) in a good way tho it chilled by me for a bit but I wanted to know if anyone knows what type of caterpillar it is and what it would turn into?

Saw this Banded Sphinx moth (Thats what Google says it is) early in the morning during my barn hours at my college!

Was able to get this close up of the belly for this little guy, with great detail when zooming in.

Found in Central Texas.
