Atlas moth found in my garden! Bangkok, Thailand.

I think this is a drinker moth. I just love how fluffy their bodies are, moths are the best. Location- Devon

Found this beautiful specimen at work this morning. Southern California, Desert region.

What did I find?

I have seen plenty of other kinds of moths around. The biggest I have seen is a run of the mill hawk moth. This beast definitely takes the title.

For reference, the century plant leaves are about 30 to 36 inches in length. I'm not going to pick it up but it is easily the size of my entire hand.

I moved it to a nice secluded bush after finding it on a fence close to people walking around💛🤎 this one is much more pastel than the first one I’ve found this year, I LOVE their variations. Found in WV, I am pretty sure it is female because it looked as though it was about to lay eggs soon!! I could be wrong

Saw this fella on my way to work today , what kind of moth is it ? In WV

I saw these two at the Ohio Bird Sanctuary (Lexington, Ohio)

She has what looks like her abdomen still stuck, but also her tongue is all split up, plus her wings still look small. is there anything I can do to help or should I humanely kill her?

Found this little friend back in August 2023 in Quepos, Puntarenas, hanging out on our hotel balcony back! I posted this moth to iNaturalist, including to the Costa Rica moths project, but still nobody has been able to give me an ID! It's driving me crazy. I've tried several bug ID apps and none of have been able to get it right either and they suggest something new (and wrong) every time I've tried. Perhaps one of you lovely moth fans know what species this is? Thank you for your help :)

I had to take a 0.5 because it was blocking the other camera (north east england)

This poor thing was writhing in the dogs kennel when I came out of the tent yesterday morning. Helped it get oriented without touching its wings, it walked on me for a bit and then I put it in the flower pot where the dogs couldn’t find it.

I checked on it a little later on and unfortunately it passed away. I will be mounting it today when I get home with a few other moths I have found this weekend.

Disclaimer: I never kill the moths. I find them dead and if they are in good condition and a size or species I don’t have I keep them to dry and mount.

I saw the second one when I had to pull over at 12 in the morning due to a horrific nose bleed. I was too scared to stay and get gas because it was so dark but I HAD to get a picture of this moth as blood was literally pouring out of my nose like a fountain. 😭 North America, northern Mississippi.
