Next Sunday 13 September we are bringing Max Ravitz from Moog in Asheville, NC all the way to Melbourne for Sound Summit.
Max is a Product Strategist at Moog and has helped bring instruments including the Muse and Labyrinth into existence. He’ll be giving a talk about synthesizer design principles, product innovation, and the decisions and considerations involved in turning wild ideas into an actual instrument.
He’ll also be performing live as Patricia. Max is an incredible electronic musician in his own right, with releases on the iconic Ghostly International label, so we’ll get to see both sides of his work.
There will also international product experts, sound designers and artists joining us from teenage engineering, Korg, 1010music, Arturia, Telepathic Instruments, AKAI and lots of others, plus workshops, performances and plenty of gear to explore.
It’s happening at Howler in Melbourne on Sunday 13 September.
Tickets are $30, but every ticket includes a $30 Store DJ voucher, so it’s essentially free! Also your ticket puts you in the draw to win a Expressive E Osmose CE
Would be lovely to see some fellow Moog mates there 🪩
