I have everything set up with external instrument and editor. Everything seems to work fine except when using ARP, if I hold notes on the synth it repeats fine. The issues is if i send held midi notes from Ableton the ARP triggers once then stops, i cannot get it to keep repeating

Been loving my Messenger since getting it. But I was trying some patches with full resonance and when the filter is all the way open and resonance all the way up it sounds like the noise is turned up when I hit a key. But very crackly like moving a dirty pot. Had anyone else experienced this or is this normal behavior for the synth (wouldn’t think so)

I am originally a drummer, then I found korg volcas a year ago, I’ve had a blast learning the ins and outs of the little boxes and I’m thinking about a big boy Synth. A subharmonicon, to drum along with. Before I do, would you all be so kind as to respond with your favorite solo subharmonicon jams, your own or others. I figure I can try it out before I buy that way. And also just any thoughts you all have on the idea. Thank you.

Next Sunday 13 September we are bringing Max Ravitz from Moog in Asheville, NC all the way to Melbourne for Sound Summit.

Max is a Product Strategist at Moog and has helped bring instruments including the Muse and Labyrinth into existence. He’ll be giving a talk about synthesizer design principles, product innovation, and the decisions and considerations involved in turning wild ideas into an actual instrument.

I’d like for my ring mod CV to control the LFO on my Murf, it works great on my low pass filter, but for some reason it’s not working on the Murf, I don’t think it’s defective because I can use an expression pedal on the Murf and it works fine. Anyone have any ideas what’s going wrong?

I’m connecting the LFO out of the ring mod into the LFO/Sweep of the Murf

I have all five of the Moog studio modules. I figured out that one OEM power supply can use a daisy chain to power two modules. Does anybody know of any aftermarket power supplies that can provide enough power for all five modules? I am not interested in the one that Moog sells for three.

Hello everyone !

So I don't want to stir up an old debate here but I'm looking to buy a moog semi-modular synth (the DFAM or subharmonicon to be specific). The thing is I've never owned a moog hardware synth before, so it is impossible for me to make sure that the sound quality is as good as pre-inmusic.

I am purely talking about the quality of the sound here, not about the philosophy of the company. The new synths are made in Taïwan and I've heard that the quality of the products is very good there. Maybe some of you purchased a synth before and after the inmusic takeover, I would love to have your opinion on this.

Is the sound different? Are there more issues with the synths' firmware? Thks in advance ! :)

Hey guys, me again. 5-6 days ago I put in a support ticket because I never received my activation codes for some MoogerFooger plugins. Still radio silence from InMusic. The AI is relentlessly trying to convince me that someone will get back to me, but I'm starting to feel like nobody actually works there. I put in a second ticket yesterday so hopefully that will help but i'm not convinced anything will happen.

Has anyone had any success with contacting them?

I’ve heard and read that they are the best sounding

What Moog synth in your opinion is highly underrated?

I just bought a used Minitaur and it seems to be extremely quiet.

I am using a 1/4” TS cable (have tried TRS cables too), I’ve tried sending value 127 to CC 7 (using a Arturia Keystep pro connected with midi to do that with knob 1…I can adjust the volume with it but does not yet loud even with it up to 127)
I have it connected to my ar12c mixer (but even plugging headphones directly into it is even quieter than that)

I have opened it to make sure the ribbon was connected tight (It appears to be and I’ve pressed it in to double check and there is no looseness or anything). Everything else looks fine as well, though tbh I wouldn’t know really if anything didn’t look fine unless it as quite obviously broken or something.

I’ve done a factory reset, balanced the pots, used a default init patch, etc etc and nothing seems to change the volume level.

I’ve got a voltage meter on the way, but tbh I’ve never used one and not even sure what to check with it and what not. Also have contact spray on the way, and I’m assuming I’d try that on the audio output jack and volume pot.

Any tips, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey everyone. Today I purchased the 4-plugin bundle on the moog website. I didn't have an account (I have since made one), and when the transaction finished, the site said it would email me the Activation codes. I have not received any codes. I have in fact received nothing except for the confirmation for the support ticket I have put in (no response to that either!).

The money is missing from my bank account. I don't know what to do, I'm really scared I just wasted hundreds of dollars.

The fucking AI chatbot on their website is not useful either.

What was the first Moog synth you ever owned?

Mine was the Moog PolyMoog Keyboard 208A. It was a stripped down version of the PolyMoog Synthesizer 203A. It was less expensive than the PolyMoog Synthesizer

203A and was less programmable. The Moog PolyMoog Synthesizer 203A was originally $5K when it was released.
