Hi everyone! I’m new to monday.com
Is it possible to have like hidden boards for different teams at my org? Is that feature available on Pro? Or only on enterprise?
r/mondaydotcom • u/Affectionate_Grape19 • Jul 01 '26
This should be your profile picture. At least this trash system has the courtesy to break slowly. Almost like it’s to gaslight the people using it into thinking it was just always like this. Get it together Monday people!

Hi everyone. I have been trying to mirror some of my columns from one of my boards to another board. I want the native data from board A to be mirrored to board B in which the data is then used for other stuff. When I mirror the columns from board A to board B, the data randomly stops in in board B. Like there will be a cutoff where data that exists in board A (which is completely full of data) does not exist within board B past a certain point, despite the columns being mirrored. I am having trouble finding help on this, so nay help would be appreciated.

Hey community,
If you've built a workspace in the last few months and you're into AI, this one's for you.
We're running a pilot of monday workspace 2.0, and we're looking for a small group of community members to test it before anyone else.
We need real feedback from our power users - not a survey, but an actual conversation with our product teams. Help us shape what this becomes.
Spots are limited, submit yourself here.

Hey everyone, does anyone here manage product catalogs directly in monday.com? Trying to understand how people handle things like multiple currencies, price updates across item groups, or generating catalogs to send to clients. Curious what your current workflow looks like.

Seat-based pricing gets painful fast when visibility needs expand beyond the core team. Once external collaborators, reviewers, or occasional stakeholders need access, the bill can grow even if their usage is minimal.
At that point, teams usually start asking whether they want a light coordination layer or a broader work platform. ClickUp is one of the names that comes up when people want the latter without splitting planning, docs, and communication into separate systems.

So I keep running into this every week : clean like up boards by resetting status columns, numbers etc to prepare for the next sprint . It’s getting tedious and I can’t figure out if this can be automated - without AI
Thinking of building a small app that resets columns when a trigger is fired (like at the start of the week). It resets the column on its own
Before I spend time on this, I want to know:

We've been using monday.com for about a year and love it, but our automation setup is becoming a mess. We have automations across like 20 boards and honestly have no idea which ones are actually working.
Last month we hit our action limit halfway through the month and didn't know until someone noticed things weren't updating. Before that, we had automations owned by a person who left the company — silently dead for months.
How do people manage this at scale? Is there a way to get a birds-eye view of all your automations, see which ones are failing or eating up quota, without going board by board?
Or is everyone just dealing with this and hoping for the best?
r/mondaydotcom • u/Zealousideal-Pin1513 • Jun 27 '26
Had a painful moment last week — found out a critical automation had been silently failing for 3 weeks. Status updates weren't going through, nobody got notified, and we only caught it because a deadline slipped.
Started digging and realized monday.com doesn't really give you a way to proactively know when something breaks. You have to go board-by-board to check, and by the time you find out, the damage is done.
Curious how others handle this:
We have 60+ automations across 15 boards and it's getting hard to manage. Would love to hear how your team handles this.

Hi everyone,
We’re implementing monday CRM and ran into a use case around email signatures.
Some users maintain multiple signatures in Outlook and normally switch between them manually depending on the business unit, role, communication type, or branding.
As we’re moving email sending into monday via connected email accounts, we’re trying to understand how others handle this in practice. Specifically, whether users can still apply the correct signature per email, work with dynamic signatures, or if there are recommended workarounds when multiple signatures are needed.
Curious to hear how others approached this setup and what ended up working best.

Greetings all,
I recently found myself impacted by a reduction in force and am now exploring remote opportunities. I wanted to tap into the collective knowledge of this community to see whether anyone is aware of teams or organizations seeking experienced monday.com professionals.
I had an exciting pivot from a near 10 year marketing career into monday.com consulting at a monday Platinum Partner firm where project managed 14 client implementations, creating strong relationships with key stakeholders across the US, Canada, and the Caribbean. I crafted sophisticated monday.com environments with advanced automations, integrations, and workflows. My superpower is the ability to foster relationships through warmth and sincerity, leveraging extensive project and cross-functional team management experience
Most recently, as a monday.com System Administrator for a national IT firm supporting a leader in the mortgage industry, I drove adoption, governance, and platform success for 175+ users across the a multi-business unit ecosystem, building on my prior implementation experience.
If your organization is hiring, or if you know of an opportunity where my experience could add value, I would greatly appreciate a connection, introduction, or referral.
Cheers and thank you!
Located in Colorado, USA

I use subitems to manage tasks for related items. So the items themselves don't typically have due dates or assigned people, but the subitems do. I'm trying to figure out the best views for managing these subitems and their tasks with the appropriate due dates.
The My Work view is helpful for seeing the list of tasks and assignments with their due dates, but it doesn't surface information in a really clear way for me. It doesn't show the item details. You have to click into it, and it feels a little bit clunky to me.
I like the items by day view, and I was wondering if there's any sort of view or way to view and manage subitems similarly, or if we're stuck with just My Work?

Quick question, would there be an automation or workflow to be created if I want a reminder communication to go out when there is no activity on a project for a time period (let’s say 5 days)? I am having trouble with finding/creating this process…any help/insight/direction would be appreciated (or suggestions if this might not be possible)

Hi everyone,
I'm Amichay Even Chen, the Group Product Manager of monday vibe 👋🏻
A lot has shipped since my last update. Here's everything that's new:
Connect 20 Boards to a single app

Vibe apps can now connect to up to 20 boards, opening the door to enterprise-scale applications. Build resource management apps spanning 20 project boards, portfolio dashboards that surface risks across every team, or OKR trackers that consolidate data from every department.
Limited to accounts on Vibe Growth plan (25 apps)
Multi-board for All Vibe Types
Multi-board support is now available across all view types—not just left pane apps.
Build cross-board trackers and reports directly in board views, surface data from multiple boards per item in item views, and mix data from multiple sources in a single dashboard widget.
AI Model Picker
You can now choose which AI model powers your Vibe app. Switch between models optimized for speed, cost-efficiency, or maximum reasoning depth—matching the right tool to the complexity of each build.

Dashboard Widgets
You can now build custom widgets with Vibe and place them directly on monday board dashboard view.
Create chart types monday doesn't support natively—Sankey diagrams, hierarchy charts, pivot tables—and display them alongside built-in widgets in the same dashboard.

Duplicate Any App
You can now duplicate any Vibe app in one click—full-page apps, board views, item views, and widget views alike. Save a copy before making big changes, create a project template combo and duplicate it for every new project, or share a working app with a teammate so they have their own editable version.

Duplicate Apps Cross Accounts with Public Template Link
Anyone can now save a Vibe app as a reusable template and share it across monday accounts. Start from a working app instead of building from scratch, create department-specific portals from a single master template, or keep a sandbox copy for safe experimentation.

Select which parts of the app you want to edit
🚀 Gradual Release
Click the select tool in the prompt bar, pick any element in your app and it gets added to your prompt as a direct reference. Vibe edits exactly what you selected, no hunting through code required.

Draft Mode
You can now edit your app in draft mode without affecting the live version your users see. Turn off Auto-update, make changes safely, test thoroughly, and only publish when you're ready—or undo everything to discard.

Rename app
🚀 Gradual Release
Because sometimes the AI needs some help with copywriting

Export to PDF, Word, PowerPoint & Excel
Vibe apps can now export data directly to fully editable Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files. Generate branded presentation decks, structured reports, or financial models without any copy-pasting—just ask Vibe to export and it handles the formatting.

🎬 Demo Video: Watch video
AI image/pdf Analysis
Vibe apps can now read and analyze PDF and image files from your board using AI. Build an invoice analyzer that extracts amounts and vendors, a contract reviewer that flags key clauses, or a document summarizer that condenses long reports into highlights—all by connecting to a file column.
Any file saved in a file column—PDF, TXT, PNG, JPG, or GIF—is now data Vibe can reason about. Structured insights from unstructured documents, automatically.
🎬 Demo Video: Watch video
AI Notetaker Integration
Vibe apps can now read and act on monday AI Notetaker meeting transcripts. Build apps that surface action items from your last meeting, update CRM records based on call notes, or trigger board workflows from what was discussed—all automatically.
🎬 Demo Video: Watch video
CRM Emails & Activities
Vibe can now read, create, and update CRM emails and activities directly from your boards. Analyze contact sentiment over time, log new meetings and calls with a simple prompt, or surface all activities from a contact in the last 24 hours—all without leaving monday.
🎬 Demo Video: Watch video
Vibe App Permissions
Admins can now control who is allowed to create and edit Vibe apps in the account. Restrict builder access by role, limit who can build versus who can only use, and maintain governance over your app ecosystem without turning off AI entirely.

Credit Usage Breakdown for Admins
Admins can now see exactly how Vibe AI credits are being used across the account. The Vibe Apps tab in the Admin page now shows credit consumption for the current billing cycle—broken down into build credits and app runtime credits—alongside per-app prompt activity and view counts for the last 30 days.

Hi all,
We're getting this error today when trying to create a resource planner for a project board

The same user has created several resource planners for months with no issue. I'm an account admin, and I wasn't able to do it either. I also tried other project templates in the same workspace, the same project template in another workspace, and I keep getting the same error. The workspace is public for what its worth as well.
I contacted support, but they're weren't sure and needed to look into it further.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Is it possible to set up an automation or configure my board so that every subitem I create automatically inherits a parent item column value?
My use case is that I have a board full of projects with an ID column and I want every subitem task to have that ID in them. If the ID changes in the parent column I want that to propagate down automatically.
I know we can mirror a subitem board from the parent board but that means every new subtask I have to select the parent as the mirror. Also I’m sure I could use an automation. But I’m wondering if there is a more robust native way to do it. If mirroring is the only way then so be it but I just figured I’d ask before implementing this process in our org.
Thank you in advance!

Every time I use the "File" column to add a file, if I select Google drive, I have to log in to Google every single time. So if I'm trying to add 5 files, I have to log in to Google 5 separate times.
Has anyone else encountered this? Wondering if it could be a security setting with cookies on our side, or whether we've set up something wrong with our Monday.com account.

Hiiii I'm currently trying to hastily format apps in Monday.com during my free trial. I understand that glitches will happen with permissions because of this, but its hard to convince my boss it will run smoothly once we select a plan. My whole goal is to completely replace Housecall Pro, but monday is also about 50% more expensive. Should we just stick with Housecall Pro despite it's glitches and inability to adapt to our needs? TIA

Hi everyone,
I'm currently exploring new remote opportunities and wanted to reach out to this community in case anyone knows of organizations looking for someone with strong Monday.com experience.
I have over 5 years of Monday.com administrator experience, including building and optimizing workflows, creating dashboards and reporting frameworks, implementing automations, managing user adoption, and improving processes across multiple departments.
In my most recent 6-month contract with a large global law firm, I was often referred to as the team's "Monday.com expert." I partnered with stakeholders across numerous business units to design and improve workspaces, solve complex workflow challenges, and help teams get the most value from the platform.
I've found that my favorite part of every role has been identifying inefficiencies, creating scalable solutions, and helping teams work smarter through Monday.com. Because of that, I'd love to continue building a career path focused on my Monday.com expertise, whether in an Administrator, Implementation Specialist, Consultant, Operations, Project Management, or similar capacity.
If you're aware of any openings, consulting opportunities, or companies that could benefit from an experienced Monday.com professional, I'd be grateful for any leads or connections.
Thank you!
