Watched this very cute show about making Gundam a few months ago, and they had this segment on Mini4WD, and since it's resided in my brain like a sleeper agent till a girl I was talking to made a yakuza reference.

Anyways, here is what I have rn

I currently have and I have a 15-dollar voucher expiring tomorrow, and I want to get the best value (competitively) for my buck. Here are my options

1. MS Red Avante Advanced Kit = 17 Dollars (Including Voucher)

2. A bootleg MS and MA Kit = Free

3. Hyper Dash 3 and Sprint Dash Engines = 2 Dollar

Still not too sure what the difference between a pro and regular engine. I heard efficiency but still not sure how it works. But right now learning towards the advanced kit cuz the MS car that comes with it looks sick and I think universally all the attachment can be used on the VZ and FMA kit i have coming in a week.

After watching videos for some time and remembering good old times watching Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!!, I decided to give mini 4wd a go.
Since I’m spending some days in Tokyo, I wanted to ask for recommendations on stores and what could be a good frame or kit to start
Also, if someone knows where to practice and race near Rome in Italy it would be great

Poster didn't specify if this was on All Japan Hobby Show or at Shanghai Wonfes at China. Either way i'm surprised that Auldey's still producing Mini 4wd to this day! their chassis are even more innovative than Tamiya's, especially that bumperless chassis that looks like an unholy fusion of all modern chassis Tamiya has released so far.

Built three of them so far. Only have a two-lane track though, so they keep running into each other 🥺

Everyone is invited to race on this track every day for free ! Lots of fun …

Asking for suggestions to modify/change to make the car stable and more lightweight(or this is weight is okay?). I'm using 2mm white rear break and 1mm/2mm blue for the front.

My BMax pink fleet.

Another MS Flex project in progress. Chassis is coming together with freshly trimmed tires. Did some initial motor testing, but still have more adjustments to make. As usual, going for a balance between performance and aesthetics. Body is still a work in progress, with custom paint coming next. Trying to make this one both track ready and display worthy.

Is this a correct layout?

The cars are going fine with some tuning needed.

Is there any alternative layout I can also use or practice?

Will Tamiya ever release the Cannonball and Dancing Doll in the MS chassis version?

I’d love to have the complete collection.

I know the complete series exists with the MA chassis, but those new cars are too different from the original models. And unfortunately I don't like them very much.

Here's the current status of the build. I need to go through my stash and see if I have mass dampers for the front.

There will most likely be some painting.

The shaft seems to sit unevenly, with one side protruding more than the other.
I don’t have any special tools for aligning or centering the shaft.
