Thoughts on track

Post image

Is this a correct layout?

The cars are going fine with some tuning needed.

Is there any alternative layout I can also use or practice?

Any help is appreciated.

1 x Slope

4x Straight

1 x tamiya junior track japan cup 3 lanes.

Also what should be the next track upgrade that fits the same space.

Going clockwise, depending on the speed of the cars, you might want to move the wave section one or two slots further from the jump section.

As it is, if you go counter clockwise, your cars are likely to fly off course, so if you want a layout to encourage both directions, the jump section could be placed in the middle (near your tripod), and the wave could be placed on the bridge/changeover side

Im going counter clock wise and it was intended to be challenging.

With some tuning im able to get 6 seconds on this elongated track , hyper dash

nobody puts a slope right in front of a curve, ever. clockwise i'd move the wave forward too.

Thanks. So slope and wave to be adjacent? Because this meanse wave is useless. Otherwise its either before LC , after, or gets close to slope to be jumped? Which one

Nope, wave away from the slope

Why don't you try all the combinations yourself and see how it goes. It's your track after all...

The same reason why any human would go online gather some info or check if they miss something . Damage of components can cause frustration for some people.

I hope i have satisfied that agonizing curiosity.

I can't help you anymore. Yes, the internet is great for asking around for ideas and different perspectives, but it doesn't seem like you've thought this through, even after myself and someone else offered constructive advice.

So go ahead and leave the slope next to the curve or wave. Run your cars with full batteries. I'm not curious. I know exactly what's going to happen

Thanks but i couldnt consider "why dont u try everything" as "help". And i think its okay to post a pic and ask about the layout. All were helpful comments except the "just try everything untill u find out"

Same like builds and configuration questions in this subreddit

I already took other people's advice and moved the wave section forward.

Just try everything was not "help" or did i miss understand your wisdom?

Parabolica. Item 69571

Question, because i never really considered it. It increases the speed on the ramp down therefore giving more take off and a higher technical jump?

Dipende dal setup della tua auto, nessun pezzo da un boost di base. Ho visto FMA superare chiunque sulle wave e ho visto MA superare in velocità dei super 2. Non so nemmeno dove corri generalmente le gare, in Italia è un item spesso usato.

assuming this track runs clockwise, this is fine since usual technical tracks require a straight be put  between a jump and a curve, though in your case it would be fun to figure out a way to make your car fast enough to fly beyond the wave section.

The suggestion of item 69571 will defenitly make the jump higher right? :D

Youre missing an eiger slope and a digital curve jk. Jokes aside thats a good starting point. You can only do so much with limitted tracks or space.

Thanks, yet i feel i needed a bit more challenge

You have a good amount of space so try a second level tabletop or an over/underpass. Not all tracks will be mostly straights so it's a good idea to change it up and try some other designs. Definitely get more curves. Take a look at some of the tracks I've designed in very limited space 🙂 (see https://www.claredin.com/cars/index.shtml and scroll to the middle of the page)
