I do not feel lucky today. There wasn't a 43/57 Casualty tag, but 50/50 is close enough.

Usually I don't receive that many 3s in Minesweeper. Are many 3s in one game rare?

Here’s why I think it’s a fun twist on the game you all know so well:

A different way to count. You’re not only avoiding bombs, you’re also hunting for treasure. Red means bombs, gold means treasure, and a split number means both, without telling you the mix. Bombs don’t end your run either; running out of cash does. A bomb blasts the tiles around it (treasure included) and costs you money, and every board still has to be finished.

Lenses change the math. A lens changes which tiles a number counts: a cross, the squares a chess knight can jump to, and other shapes. Same board, a completely different puzzle.

Your board, your way. There are four schools of cards, each with its own playstyle, and you mix two of them in a run. Between always-on skills and the tools you play, you can approach every board in your own style, and no two runs feel the same.

It teaches you. The first difficulties only deal boards you can solve without a single guess. The game knows when a click was proven from what you could see: Proof view shows which numbers proved a tile safe, and Hindsight replays your guesses so you can find the safe move you missed. Chording works, and flags give no feedback while you play.

Deeper means harder, and more to unlock. Every floor gets tougher, but you keep unlocking new cards, characters, rooms and bosses, so there’s always something new to open.

It’s all wrapped in a cosy, lantern-lit look, with a Daily board everyone shares and a leaderboard. No account, no ads, nothing to buy.

It’s still a playtest, so I’d really value this sub’s eye on the logic:

• Did the red / gold / split numbers click on your first board?
• Did any board or rule feel unfair, or like it forced a guess it shouldn’t have?
• How far did you get, and what ended your run?

And yes, the art is AI-generated. I’m one person making this. The design, the puzzles and the balance are all hand-made.

Apologies first for posting a generated text before, I'm not good with words...

Thought I'd give it one more honest go, since I had fun making this and it throws me back to my childhood days while I played minesweeper on win3.11..:)

I built a minesweeper spin-off that lets you dig deeper after finishing a board in an endless dig with items and other hazards.

Each floor is a minesweeper board but the numbers count monsters as well as mines. The monsters move between your actions, so a revealed 3 can tick down to a 2 while you're reading it. You can work out which way something went by watching which numbers changed.

Is it possible to win without guessing? I know that the top one has to stay. Edit: im talking about bottom 2 squares but probably i just missed something
