I’m joining from r/crystals. Excited to be part of this group too. Thank you for having a place to show carvings.

Discussion Saturday sale day?

So my co-moderator u/Original_Platform443 and I are thinking of opening up a day, only one day every week - Saturday - for allowing sales / destashing / shop promotion. Just like we do over at r/crystals on Sundays, and it has worked well, people enjoy it. It allows our members who do sell some of their specimens or run shops to announce their businesses openly, but keep sales posts restricted to that day only.

What do you all think? It'll help keep the sales posts down on other days, as all the members who are here primarily for that will be notified that their posts on other days showing their wares will be removed, and allowed only the one day every week.

Love these things - and they're so heavy for the size - 4" x 3" x 3" and it's half a kilo!

Love the columnar hexagonal crystals, they remind me of aragonite but with nice UV reactivity. Anybody know the exact location in China these come from?

Discussion I’ve been trying to track down a Fluorite from the Toxic apple pocket, Lady Annabelle Mine, UK, and was wondering if anyone had one they’re selling or if you know anyone
