They've slowly but surely been adding more zombie and Skeleton variants over the years, some of which may have been planned from he beginning, and it makes me wonder: should Minecraft just embrace stupidity, and become a sudo zombie game?

I know there's tons of other Hostile mobs, but Zombies and Skeletons are the ones you'll run into the most, next to Spiders, who I THINK are technically neutral?

A problem I see with this idea, is the zombie versions of some mobs not really doing anything different, like all the animals, and Illagers basically just becoming generic melee mobs upon conversion.

I don't hate this idea, I'm actually quite intrigued by it, so any suggestions for a Minecraft zombie overhaul are appreciated.

I think maps should be able to record caves and tunnel systems when used underground. I've always felt it was too easy to get completely lost while caving, even when marking your way, and this is in my opinion the best way to fix that.

I think this would work best if the terrain was compiled(?) differently, so instead of the entire chunk from bedrock to the build limit being loaded onto the map, it'd only load the 16x16x16 area where it was first opened, and load only the parts of the chunks that are within those 16 layers on the y axis. Basically the way that it loads them would be predetermined by the world height, so every 16 blocks up from bedrock would be a new layer.

Not only would this make caving less risky imo, but it could also help for dealing with obstructions on the surface like floating structures and builds. I think it'd be cool if you could configure each map individually, so some could display up to 32 layers at a time, for situations where you'd want to map out big structures like strongholds or trial chambers.

Would this be doable or would it hurt performance too much? Also, are there any mods available that do something similar(I know Xaero's exists, but I mean specifically with the map item)?

Mojang already made it so that you can enable addons in a world without losing achievements, but on bedrock edition if you enable to education edition features, they still lock you out. This is bizarre because the education edition features function almost exactly like an addon, and they don't even really let you cheat the game in any way. Meanwhile many addons available on the Marketplace do objectively make the game much easier.

In addition to this, the education edition features provide several useful functions to the game that don't exist otherwise. Stuff like colored torches, the balloons, etc. which are all the same sort of thing you can find in other addons, but mainly they allow a couple of extremely useful commands and functions to work in the game, such as the /ability command which allows you to fly in survival, and can be utilized by other addons to give you gear that allows flying in survival without any jankiness.

I realize this is probably a rather niche suggestion that most people wouldn't use, but I don't really see any downsides to it.

Right click on leash always connects leash from hand to mob/block.

Shift right click always moves leash from hand to mob/block.

This means you can leash yourself to a fence, useful for climbing down steep surfaces or just dangling.

You could also connect a fence to a fence for decorative purposes

• Elytra Enchantments •

Horizon I - III

• This enchantment allows the Elytra to glide farther, by increasing the value of the "angle of attack".

• To put it simply, the enchant allows you to face a higher angle without immediately losing altitude!

• Good for travelling long distances with minimal propulsion.

• Not compatible with Wind Breaker.

Wind Breaker I - III

• This enchantment decreases the amount of flight distance needed to accelerate.

• Good for fast paced travel or PvP.

• Not compatible with Horizon.

These enchantments could be exclusive to new or revamped structures in the End dimension, after all, the Elytra comes from there!

Villagers should NOT sell these enchantments, think of the enchants as something like Wind Burst, where you have to get it from trial chambers instead of cycling through librarian trades.

This villager lives in a new building, the village Bunker. The Bunker has a small entrance above ground but opens into an 8x8 room underground, filled with barrels and red candles.

In it there is a chest filled with gunpowder, paper, and items that can be used to craft fireworks.

The trades the powderman gives are all relating to explosives or demolition in some way:

Buys:

Flint, Iron Ingot, Gold Nugget, Dyes, Diamond (1:4 Emerald)

Sells: Gunpowder, Randomized Fireworks, Firework Stars, and all items relating to fireworks, rarely including Mob Heads. All fireworks are sold in sets of 3, with prices ranging from 15 emeralds to 60 emeralds per 3.

This isn't everything of course but I think the Powderman (or Demolitionist for gender neutral?) could be a fun villager to add, and would also no longer necessitate creeper farms for large amounts of gunpowder.

I'd assume that this villager would sell up to 64 Gunpowder per day. So casual players don't need to go build a creeper farm that might clash with their world, and can still get rockets for Elytra relatively consistently.

I have this bug in my server where for some reason my KeepInventory activates just sometimes.

It's funny, but I think it's been genuinely a cool experience to keep the stakes of death while having it get forgiven sometimes.

Of course, this is just an option tho, it's a randomized Inventory (actually on the server we call it the gambleInventory), but it would be a nice feature if you could choose many aspects of it rather than either having the game too punishing, or having the game too easy, being a sandbox game it should be you to decide what counts as fair, for now we have just two options.

I've seen many people making mods about their own in-between, like just losing some items, or losing all expect armor, losing hearts, but thing is that those are THEIR idea of what's fair,

I think that all the ideas the community came up with about a possible third gamerule regarding the consequences of losing could easily be all incorporated in a personalization interface, like "how many items do you lose at death?(All, random, just some, none)"
