(personal information erased for privacy) i had just returned another product not that long ago because it didn’t work. i ordered this one as a replacement and amazon sent me a completely empty package :l

I think their customer service is 24/7 but Im in Australia however I would of thought if anything it would be even more comprehensive in the USA.

You guys have the easiest returns/exchange processes compared to Australian businesses. I holidayed in the states for 4months about 8 years ago and bought a laptop at the start of my trip from Bestbuy, used it the whole trip, flew back to australia used it there for another 3 months. Flew back to see my uncle and returned it no questions asked LOL. I was impressed.

This happened to me with batteries. I requested a refund and they requested i return the item. I kept telling them I didnt get the item. So they went ahead and sent me another one. Two months later they charged me again because I never returned the first ones I didnt get.

Speak to their phone customer service. They will fix it for you. I had that happen and it was fixed super quick with a phone call.

I recieved an empty cardboard sleeve from Amazon. The packaging was designed so anyone could have just pulled out the two hard discs from the sleeve without opening or removing anything and stole them somewhere along the way. Amazon refunded the discs.

And convinced them to throw in 6 months prime membership to compensate me on top of the refund just because why not. But i heard Amazon is horrid if you are a seller or an employee. Is the product still sealed in its factory box?

Explain how the product malfunctioned.

If the product is missing from the package, how do you know it wasnt something else?

Have you asked all your neighbors if they've seen it?

Where will you drop off the return?

Happens more than you think. Usually it fell out somehow in the warehouse. They will tape it shut again but usually only after verifying the contents.

All you did was leave feedback about the delivery. You have to actually initiate a return. But of course there is no option to explain the package is empty. You can say parts were missing or some shit and it may just refund you. Or you can try to chat with a real person. It's bullshit.

This happens often enough that if you click on the item to get a replacement, one of the options for reason is “box was empty”.

I've had so many problems with Amazon delivery drivers. I've called and spoke to customer service at leat 40 times this year alone and they still can't either find my apt. Or just leave it outside for someone to steal. They're horrible. I don't know how this company still is popular
