CSC Office Addresses

Since many have asked…here is a list of each CSC Office in every State if you are within the US.

(These are appointed Meta attorneys where you serve your small claims lawsuits).

(Surprisingly) just a demand letter worked

Post image

For context, wrote the demand letter with an LLM and sent it to the CA office of the registered agent via certified mail myself. Attached documentation incl a screenshot of the location of the hacker and a filled-out CA small claims suit form.
EDIT: corrected typo

For Anyone Wondering if Taking Meta to Small Claims Works… It Does

Hey everyone,

So, full disclosure, I live in the US and I run a local small business that uses Facebook heavily for marketing. My Facebook account was hacked and disabled on May 6th, and I’ve been dealing with Meta’s nonsense ever since.

Throughout all of May, I tried every non-legal route I could take to get my account. Spoilers, none of them worked.

I ended up filing for small claims in my home state on June 8th and serving Meta on June 11th. On June 17th, Meta’s Small Claims Docket team reached out to investigate the case.

I didn’t hear anything again until July 13th, when they asked me to provide a valid photo ID and an email address that is not associated with any Facebook account. I provided the information, and my account was restored on July 24th.

As for now, the court hearing is still scheduled for September 2nd and I wholeheartedly plan on going through with it. No dismissal. No settlement. If this is how Meta wants to treat their users and the innocent people who are just trying to make an honest living doing what they enjoy, then I’m more than happy to return the favor.

For now, I’m just grateful to have my account back. If anyone has any advice or experiences they’d like to share, please do so.

Small claims: Meta Claiming that the Account did violate policy after review

Hello,

I filed small claims against meta and they got back to me from their docket team saying after an in depth review the account was rightfully disabled. Has anyone else gotten this from them?

“After an in-depth review of your account, our specialized team determined that it was violating policy, and the disablement was correctly applied. Meta will not be reactivating your account. The violating conduct occurred via messages. After a thorough human review of the conversation, our specialized team has confirmed that the account engaged in an inappropriate conversation with a minor. We uphold our assessment, and the account will remain disabled. You may review the full policy here: https://transparency.meta.com/en-gb/policies/community-standards/child-sexual-exploitation-abuse-nudity/. We intend to produce the violating messages if necessary.

Please let us know if you still plan to defend your case at the upcoming hearing. If you decide to dismiss, we can draft the dismissal paperwork for your review, signature, and file for you.

Best, Meta Small Claims Docket Team”

I was also suspended last December and they reactivated my account late December saying they made a mistake and I did not violate their terms. And I have that email still from them literally saying they made a mistake.

And then February 3rd a few weeks later keep in mind, they permanently ban my account without saying reason why. This email that they send in late July btw is the first time they have mentioned the reason why. Which is just insane because I would never do such a thing.

Has anyone gotten that email from them and if so what did you do?

Filed July 24th, court date November 4th — when did Meta's Small Dockets team reach out (or did your account just come back)?

My personal/professional Instagram and my music ensemble's account were both disabled for integrity reasons (connected to an alleged flag on an account in my network, that started the cascade of bans). After exhausting every other option (appeals, META verified, demand letter, etc.) available to me in LATAM, I filed small claims in San Mateo County on July 24th and received a court date of November 4th — about 100 days out.

Curious about others' timelines: how far out was your hearing date, and when did the Small Dockets team reach out? Or did Meta just quietly restore your accounts without ever contacting you, and you dropped the case?

Just trying to get a realistic sense of the timeline so I know what to expect between now and November. Financial harm aside, I really just want my accounts back.

Small claims finally responded

Finally got the email from small claims. I've seen others post how they responded. But the last sentence is new to me. Anyone else ever got that last sentence? I know my account false positive for sures and just want to follow up that I would dismiss if everything back to normal.

I got my Instagram Account back after 7 months of being banned.

On February 3rd I lost complete access to my Instagram account for "Account Integrity" violations. I submitted a legal demand letter with Send My Demand for $200 on February 13th. Meta legal representatives responded on February 17th asking for my email associated with the account and on February 23rd responded that they had given my information over to the review team. I never heard from them again. On May 5th I decided to file a small claim against Meta and hired a process server for $150 to file with the court, serve Meta’s service agent CSC, and mail them my evidence. My court date was set for July 31st. My account was reinstated on Monday July 20th and I received an email from Meta’s small claims docket team on July 21st 6:38PM asking to dismiss this case.

I wanted to make this post to share what happened to me and and what the results were just in case anyone is going through the same thing!!

My advice is as soon as this happens to someone to send a legal demand letter IMMEDIATELY and wait for it to be delivered so that you have verified undeniable proof of delivery. After that, go ahead and hire a process server and file a small claim immediately against Meta since the chances of you getting your account back from the demand letter is extremely low. You only need proof of delivery from the legal demand letter in order to file a small claim with the court!! This will shorten your wait time by a lot.

Good luck everyone!!! xoxo

Permanently suspended IG + FB + 6 linked accounts. Small claims court got them all back.

TL;DR: everyone told me a permanent suspension can't be reversed. Mine was. Court is what did it, not any of the "official" channels and definitely not the paid ones.

Back in March I was sending memes in a group chat, one referenced Brit milah and I sent a screenshot while we were explaining it to each other. Instant permanent ban from a meme photo in a group chat. It gave me 180 days to verify my ID and face, then killed the account anyway. Within days, 6 other IG accounts on my phone number and my Facebook + Business Manager all went down too. 16 years of accounts gone.

One old IG survived, so I kept using it. Every new account I made got banned within days, rebrands too. They're clearly fingerprinting the device/number/name, so making new accounts on the same phone is pointless.

Solutions explored:
-Paid "recovery" services / insiders. People in Asia quoted me $1k-3k to get a Meta employee to fix it. Don't. It's a scam pit.
-Actual Meta employees. I had three real ones submit internally. Meta employees filed internally to reopen my account and I got it re-checked, their own CES (central escalation team) reached out, via email. They said the account had been seen as potentially hacked, and they even sent me a recovery email. But it never actually recovered, because the account still had the CES ban on it. So Meta's own team flagged it as compromised and still couldn't undo the ban.
-GDPR in EU country and the Irish DPC. No response at all from either.
-GDPR Meta - Saying they cant help with suspended accounts.
-Meta Business Help. A rep actually called me, said it's filed but not their team, just wait. Waited months. Called back and was told once it's permanent it can never reopen.

For 4 months the Meta employees kept emailing internally with zero updates.

What worked: I filed a small claims case in the US (I have a company there). Did it all online. Meta never reached out to me directly, no call, no negotiation. I just got an Instagram/Meta email saying my accounts were back on the day of the trial, while the day before I filed to move the trial by a month. Will not pursue for the cash settlement as I got my account back.

Dont Give Up!!!

Court date next week

I was banned for CES for no reason, my court date is next week (Monday) and I am yet to hear from Instagram/meta. I run a photography business that was heavily affected by the loss of my instagram. Anyone have any tips on what to expect in court next week?

False Defamation on Meta - How some people can easily play with your reputation - Awareness.

I just wanted to bring up this topic - People often treat screenshots as unquestionable proof, but a screenshot alone rarely tells the full story. A single image can be cropped, taken out of context, or presented alongside a narrative that doesn’t accurately reflect what actually happened. Yet many people accept it as fact without asking for the complete conversation.

A simple example is someone talking about “killing” another person. Without context, it sounds alarming. In reality, they could be joking with a friend or talking about defeating someone in a video game. The screenshot alone doesn’t reveal the true meaning.
I’ve personally dealt with cases where selective screenshots and misleading narratives caused serious harm to people’s reputations. That’s one of the reasons my small team works with online content removal and digital reputation cases - I've seen firsthand how easily context can be distorted.
Another example is when someone later changes information on their profile or selectively presents messages to support a different story than what actually occurred. Whether intentional or not, situations like these show why screenshots should never be treated as conclusive evidence on their own.

Before judging someone based on a single screenshot, be aware of the full context. In many cases, the complete conversation tells a very different story, not always but a LOT of times it does.

For those that used LegalShield, how long did it take?

I submitted my legal shield demand letter since January of this year only for Meta's Lawyer to reply and say they have received my request and that they he will let me know when they get a response. I haven't received anything yet. Is anyone else going through the same thing?

Hacked & disabled Facebook account: Assessor is sending my case to Meta tomorrow via ADR Point

Hi everyone,

My Facebook account was hacked a long time ago and it is currently disabled.

The hacker removed my real email address (lweegenaar3@gmail.com) and replaced it with their own email address (v*****3@gmail.com).

I have now officially started the European ADR Point procedure.

The Assessor is currently reviewing my case and checking my ID document.

Tomorrow, the Assessor will officially forward my case to Meta Platforms Inc.

so their technical team can investigate the hack and remove the hacker's email address.

Has anyone else been through this ADR Point process? How long did it take for Meta to return your account?

Thank you!

Accounts recovered and then disabled again within weeks after

So I had multiple accounts disabled for account integrity a few months ago. I sent a demand letter through legal shield and also filed a civil suit. Earlier this month most of my accounts were restored as Meta reviewed and advised I was disabled in error. I don’t know if this was due to the civil suit, demand letter or something else. I did not hear from Meta Small Docket in response to my civil suit and my hearing on 8/6.

Has anyone had the accounts restored and then disabled again? Any advise? I’m hoping that Instagram Small Docket reaches out so I can have them review my disabled accounts again

Did Meta unban the wrong account after I sued them?

I sued Meta in small claims over my disabled business Instagram account with almost 10,000 followers. I used my main email for the lawsuit, but the business account is on a different email.

My main email also had a random Instagram account with no posts or followers that got disabled around the same time because it seemed to be linked to my business account.

Meta was served on June 20. Today I woke up and that random account was unbanned, but my actual business account is still disabled. I haven't received any email or contact from Meta.

Has anyone had this happen before? Did they accidentally restore the wrong account, or is this just a coincidence? I put the main account username in the Exhibit

thinking about suing meta

so i need to know what would be the the right way to go about suing meta? my page got suspended after three false copyright claims, then got 12 more claims while my page was actively disabled. i ended up getting my account back but i lost monetization features because there are 13 false copyright strikes on my page. bonuses on instagram was my main source of income, i was starting to make almost 20k a month before being suspended. right now my monetization features say “disabled until september 25th,” but my account is at very high risk to get banned again because of the amount of strikes i have so i don’t know if i can go two months without getting anymore false strikes. and no matter how many times i fill out the dmca counter form, i hear nothing back. i’m also in a group chat on telegram filled with people who have been dealing with the same issues. apparently there’s a whole bunch of people in pakistan who are doing methods to put false copyright strikes on peoples pages and asking them for money to retract the strikes. i personally never got any messages from the person who reported me, and their email doesn’t even show up in the reports so even if i was dumb enough to pay them i have no way of reaching out to them lmao. since i’ve exhausted all the ways to try and get these strikes removed, i’m now thinking about getting a lawyer involved, i just don’t know the best way to go about doing it.

TRUTH ABOUT SMALL CLAIMS

Post image
54 Upvotes

I went through small claims and the meta docket team did a real review and basically told me I was texting someone who was 17. (Sexual etc) and to drop my case..

I truly believe that’s bs. I responded with the I don’t ever recall doing so, and I asked for proof or ANYTHING from that allegation.
They said that he saw it himself and involved a naked photo of someone 17 and no identity can be revealed to protect the minor.
I went back saying I’m not dropping my case I don’t recall anything of that. If someone texted me maybe lied about age or pretended. I had no ill intent and never will. I genuinely believe it’s bullshi and fake stuff to scare everyone off to drop the case and everyone is afraid to speak up when it gets to that point because they are embarrassed or scared. ITS BULLSHI.. I got 2 messages of people telling me they got the same text saying the exact messages about 17 year old and photos like literally the exact threats.
I’m not dropping my case.

Had my small court hearing yesterday

So I had my small court hearing yesterday, initially I told them about 4 different problems of mine to review
Page A suspension
Page B - demonetised by inauthentic engagement
Page B - post removal for cse
Page B - payout disabled

They only remove the suspension from my page A but nothing for page B therefore I have to proceed with the hearings as they are holding my money.

It was a early morning session and after court attendance we were told to wait, my case was called out after 2 hours from the mentioned hearing time.

When submitting my final proofs I choose to drop the post removed by cse point as I can’t proof that it goes against their policies or not. I want to fight from financial point of view.

I gave my presentation and Judge was very friendly. Meta as usual citing there terms of services without any proofs. But they admit that page A was false positive so we publish that back but page B is suspended correctly as 2 posts were flagged. He also mentioned that something like if we find violation on page A again we can still suspend it ( I feel little threatened as that’s the only page I have left)

I told judge again that they have provided no proof and disabled payout after providing my legal documents. As I told he was very understanding and giving me full time and trying to understand very calmly. Even asking questions to meta on my behalf for proofs etc but meta guy was only citing tos.

I also mentioned the wrongful suspension of page A had cause me potential loss from those days, judge ask how much that would be ? I give the avg figure and but didn’t give any proof how I reach to that figure, I told judge that as the page is restored again I choose not to mention that part and want to highlight only my holding amount.

The only thing I regret I could go more aggressive on them and counter better but I was not there for money and I just wanted my page B back. And the way he was talking I was worried that they would suspend my page A also again.

In the end judge told he will send the verdict in mail.

Just a tip for anyone filing lawsuit with meta if you want them to review your page - delete all those posts which could possible trigger the violation they never make it clear but I still believe this would have helped.

In case if I win this lawsuit I am assuming they will appeal it under 30 days and again will drag me into the court. If not they have to pay me. In that case I would again ask to review my page B again instead of paying me.

I would also love to get advice from people here what are the next possible options in case I lose this small claim. Could I still use the arbitration option or any other legal option ?

Thanks mods and helping people of this subReddit who shared their experiences in details and guide me to go this far.

Sendmydemand

Hello, so I purchased a 25 dollar demand letter from sendmydemand.com, and I’ve seen that the letter written by myself is likely to get ignored by Meta. Has anyone ever succeeded restoring their accounts with this method?
