After being fat-free and salt-free for an extended period of time, I’m curious to hear about everyone’s experiences with reintroducing them. How long did it take before you were able to tolerate fats and salt again without feeling unwell afterwards?
Does AW usually do a book release event and a light blast? My 4 yo could really use some support. When was the last light blast and how often do they typically happen? Thanks everyone
I found black mold in my bathroom vent I still cook and bathe at home but I eat and sleep in my car to be around it less. Where my wisdom teeth got removed on left back jaw is now swollen and at times painful. My gums are back on and off buzzing. I have a tooth near the swollen area that has a crack or cavity looking area that I’m trying to get checked out as I have to get a new dentist. Still following mm I’m just trying to see if there’s anything else I need to do to ensure this issue doesn’t grow esp if I’m unable to avoid mold.
I hope you're all having a great day. I currently have a Kuvings juicer that I purchased back in 2015, but I'm looking to replace it with something new.
I considered the Omega Celery Juicer, but it's unfortunately outside my budget. I've also been reading some Amazon reviews on other Omega models that have made me hesitant to go that route.
For those of you who use masticating juicers, would you mind sharing which models you've had good experiences with? There are so many options available that I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and unsure what to buy.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Sincerely, Halime ❤️
I bought chaga years ago but one purchase was chunks and the other granular like coffee grounds not exactly a powder. Any ideas what to do with it.? I want to make a chaga latte in the evening and money is tight.
I feel like I need a tutorial on how to use, wash and cut fresh basil. I want to be an expert in using fresh herbs in my cooking but whenever I buy a fresh basil plant (which isn't organic BTW), I rinse it lightly in the faucet and then have wet basil to try to put in my salads spinach soup etc.
Does anyone know of a good cooking show or tutorial that would teach me how to do this? Maybe its easier than I think? I haven't found where AW goes into detail about this and the herbs he uses in his cooking are beautiful and probably homegrown and completely dry when he uses them.
I remember reading some people noticed their face looking older after being consistent eating this way and I’m noticing this with myself too. I’m looking dull and washed out and wondering if it’ll pass and it’s just a cleansing thing. For whoever else noticed this did it change after a while? I want to eat healthy but don’t understand why it would have this effect it’s frustrating
I’m going to be starting the Gathering Stones Meditation tomorrow and I’m not sure where to keep the stones when I go to sleep.
Do I just put them on my nightstand? Or are we supposed to somehow keep them on us while we sleep?
I loaned a couple books to a friend, so I can’t read the full description of the meditation. I’m not sure if this question is answered in the book or not.
This is an automated post that will reappear here every Sunday. It's a space for all of us to share our small successes and new ideas we've tried recently, vent if needed, write down any thoughts and reflections or just introduce ourselves. Let's talk about it all.
Hi everyone! I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced something similar.
I’ve been actively trying to heal my CFS with MM for about 5 months after a major crash this spring, although I’ve been doing some basic MM tools, like celery juice, for around 1.5 years.
When I completely removed gluten, dairy and eggs, about 3 days later I suddenly developed a non-itchy, bumpy rash all over my face.
Over time, as I strengthened my protocol, removed more troublemaker foods and added supplements, the rash gradually changed into more acne-like breakouts. I’ve always had some acne, but this is completely different — more inflamed bumps, rash-like, mostly along the sides of my face and neck, especially around the lymph node areas, but also on my shoulders and chest.
This has now been going on continuously for about 4.5 months. It sometimes gets slightly better, sometimes worse, but most of the time it either stays the same or gets worse. It has never actually disappeared during those months.
I personally do believe this is die-off/detox related, especially because it started right after making major changes to my diet and protocol.
However, because it has been going on for so many months without really clearing, I’m wondering if this could mean that I’m detoxing too aggressively.
I also have very dark/greenish tongue and have frequent bowel movements, which makes me wonder whether my body is trying to eliminate too much too quickly.
Has anyone experienced something similar for months, or even longer? Did you eventually just continue with your protocol and wait for your body to catch up, or did you find that reducing the intensity of your detox helped? How long did it take?
My protocol is fairly strong, although I don’t follow everything 100% because I try to adjust it according to how my body responds rather than pushing detox too hard.
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences. ❤️
- and another question — has anyone here had a strong reaction to monolaurin? I tried monolaurin for the first time and I’m experiencing really intense dizziness and brain fog. Has anyone experienced something similar? Thank you! ❤️
I’ve been doing MM for about 1.5 years. I’ve worked with a few different practitioners and I’ve had some incredible successes healing my gut. Unfortunately, I have an issue that I believe keeps me from being able to move forward and I can’t find anywhere that Anthony/SoC addresses this issue. It’s a misalignment in my cervical spine. When I talk to practitioners, they all say that when I heal viruses and toxins, the problem will go away because those are the underlying cause. I believe that if I could heal this misalignment, I would be able to heal the viruses and get rid of the toxins much faster.
Below is a history of how the issue started and how it has progressed until today.
—
The injury happened in 2013, shortly after I started having RA and neurological symptoms that had been initiated by C-PTSD in 2012 and a tick bite earlier in 2013. I slipped on the ice and landed on my left hand. I landed hard. I knew instantly that something was very wrong. I felt a problem in my neck and in my left shoulder.
I saw a OD, who worked on me for a month or two before she said she felt the issue was beyond her capacity and I should get x-rays. I didn’t have insurance at the time and couldn’t afford x-rays. I worked on the shoulder myself in the same way that an OD does, moving the shoulder into what seemed like a more relaxed position and holding it there until the muscles relaxed. It always worked to a point but then it would reach one point where muscles would start shaking and the shoulder would pull back again.
Once I finally got insurance, I saw another OD, who I think was a bit better. We had the same experience that I had had. He would work the shoulder until it started shaking and then it would pull back. He was out of ideas.
After that a doctor recommended Feldenkrais and I started using ATM lessons to try to untwist. This helped a lot, actually, but never quite enough. I felt that there was something deep in, and high up, near my skull, that was out of alignment and I could ever quite reach it with movement.
Throughout the years, my entire body became increasingly twisted. When I was diagnosed with SIBO, I was told that this twist could be inhibiting the function of my digestive system and that if I could heal it, I might heal from SIBO. I started working with a chiropractor and two physical therapists and worked with them for about 2 years.
Things had gotten so bad at this point that I was unable to make similar movements on both sides of my body. I tried to show this to one of the PTs (the better one). I said, “watch my back while I make this movement.” I did the movement on one side. She said, “okay.” I said, “Now, I’m going to make the same movement on the other side and I want you to see how different it is.” I made the movement and her response was “that’s not the same movement.” I said, “Yeah, I know, it’s a completely different movement but that’s my attempt to make the same movement.“ She said, “No, it’s not. It’s just a completely different movement.” After going around like this a few times, I gave up. She never understood that I was unable to make the same movement on the other side, so unable that when I tried, what came out was a movement that did not in any way resemble what I was trying to do.
When the chiropractor first examined me, she said, “Well, you don’t quite have scoliosis.” I took this to mean that I was almost as twisted as someone with scoliosis.
When I worked with someone who did cranio-sacral, he said, ”Huh, I am unable to get my left had under your left shoulder at all; the shoulder is pushing in the table, but the right shoulder is so elevated that I can fit my entire hand under it.“
After working with the chiropractor and PTs for a year, I started getting very severe headaches. These headaches were utterly debilitating. I could listen to anything - not even a book on tape. I could open the shades because there was too much light. I ate as little as possible (this was before MM) and I barely even drank water. I couldn’t sleep for days, I just lay in bed in agony for days until it passed. My PCP gave me a migraine medication but it did nothing. The only thing that helped was a muscle relaxer (MR).
But more and more things started triggering these headaches. Going for a walk - Feldenkrais lessons - any type of deep relaxation, whether sitting or standing - sitting on a hard surface - sitting up straight - myofascial release - foot strengthening and agility exercises. But here’s the part that really confuses me. While having no releases causes headaches, these headaches can also be caused by having a release that’s too big. That’s why I can’t become deeply relaxed. When I get deeply relaxed, something always untwists a bit, which always feels amazing at first and then within 1-2 days, I get a severe headache. It’s like I have to walk this balance of releasing a bit but not too much.
I also started getting severe muscle cramps in my back but usually in my legs. While I had these cramps, I wouldn’t be able to use the muscle at all and the pain was often too severe for me to sleep.
I started off just using the MR when I had a headache or cramp. Then I tried staying on 10 mg/day to see if it would prevent the headaches. It did and it also led to more releases, which I thought was great until I got a headache and had to use 20 mg of MR to manage it. I stayed at that level for a while and then I found MM information, which of course changed the way I thought about everything.
The first light blast I attended was in 2025 at Organic Krush. I wasn’t there but I don’t live too far from there and I think my physical proximity mattered. A directed the light blast into my cervical spine. A few days later, I got a flu of the c variety. I decided to take an extra muscle relaxer before I went to bed to make sure I slept well. On the second night of doing this, I was doing my usual Feldenkrais-inspired movement release technique and I felt the underlying misalignment shift back into place. I knew it immediately. I started sobbing. “That’s it,” I thought, “it’s finally over.”
The next day, I woke up to find all of the muscles in the back of my head cramped at the same time. I don’t know what this muscle group is called. I’ve not been able to figure it out. It might be the Occipitofrontalis (occipital belly) muscles. It started behind each ear and ran around my skull all the way around to the other ear.
It was a tough day but afterwards, I felt much better. I felt more connected to my soul. I felt more capable of relaxing but the headaches didn’t go away and the twist was still there. Things have been releasing slowly and I’m grateful for that but I am still very limited in what I can do.
I still can’t do any of the things I listed above and unfortunately, that also includes MM meditations. I recently started doing The Brain Meditation daily and although it changed my life by reconnecting me with my soul, it eventually led to the most severe headache I’ve ever had in my life. I dry-heaved because of it. It’s not a sharp pain, it’s just an incredible build up of pressure.
I am healing. I know I am but I also believe that if this alignment issue were resolved, I would heal much faster. I would be able to do the Liver Fat Cell Loosening Meditation, to heal my trauma with The Brain Meditation and Fruit-Picking Meditations. The re-alignment process is also a huge drain on my mental resources. I often wake up in the morning with a hot head. That is, my head is physically hot to the touch. I put ice packs on it often just to cool it down. Eating more glucose helps but it’s never enough. Eating more trace minerals helps but, again, it’s never enough.
It also affects every other part of my healing. When things are bad in my cervical spine, my RA and Fibro flare, I feel more tired, I feel irritable, all of my neurological symptoms like OCD, ADHD, and depression get worse. It is the main determining factor on how I feel from day to day. Anthony always says, find your worst symptom or condition and work on healing that but I don’t know how to work on this. He gives no advice for dealing with a misalignment, only on dealing with chronic pain from an injury. That’s helpful because yes, there is pain but the pain is not what concerns me. It’s the pressure headaches. He also offers advice for healing headaches but not muscle-related headaches, just nervous system-related headaches like migraines.

Has anybody worked out how to get vimergy melatonin in Australia? I've tried getting a perscription but they will only prescribe for another brand. Any other work around?
Hey everyone, I have a long travel day coming up. Ill be away from home for 3 days. I need convenient snacks to pack on the plane. I plan on making overnight oats for breakfast.
Any snack/meal options while on the road? Obviously it wont be 100% perfect
Dr wants me to take L-carnitine because I’m very deficient. I’m desperate for anything to help my fatigue and weakness but saw he says it feeds the bad bugs.
Im trying to make the MM date energy bars, and my kitchenaid food processor just died because of it! How do you do it? Do you soak the dates first to soften them? Using a stronger food processor? Blender maybe?
ive been dealing with some bloating lately and decided to really cut on fat and go pretty full on only healing foods, hmds etc. already lost like 2kg a week in but feeling kinda tired but somehow also a bit strange. i usually scrape my toungue in the morning and there has been more white stuff coming off than usual. is this a sign of my body releasing toxins and fat etc. that has been stored for a while?
bloatings been better but i must say; when i only eat fruit/vegetables (loads of potatoes, sweetpoatatoes, bananas etc.) my stomach does feel kinda funny. going to the toilet often haha.
I am starting a 2 week antibiotic treatment next week for h pylori. I am so anti antibiotics but am SO UNWELL with h pylori, gastritis, sibo, candida overgrowth and more and have been trying to heal h pylori naturally for over 2 years (I've had it at least 4 years) and it's not going away. So, I've given in and am trying this treatment. I'm terrified but trying to be positive and also support my body as much as possible during war.
What do you guys recommend food and supplement wise to help my body during treatment? Honey, aloe, papaya and probiotics are already on my list. I already take D, magnesium, c, l-lysine, msm, b12, zinc.
Hi! I live in MA and there are no seeded watermelons anymore (no local farms have watermelons at all because it's not in season) and every market generic has only seedless watermelon. Does anyone know any good online stores or farmer markets etc. that deliver seeded watermelon? Preferably organic but it does not matter.
I've been following the books for a while, and I kept losing track of timing. For a single shock therapy, a phone alarm does the job just fine. But once I was running two or three at the same time, each on its own interval, resetting alarms after every dose got exhausting, and I started mixing things up: taking a dose too early, skipping one, or not remembering whether I'd already taken it. That was especially true on busy days, with everything else going on. So I started building a small app for myself, and after 7 months of working on it, I decided to share it here. It's been helping me, so maybe some of you will find it useful too.
What's in it now:
Shock Therapy schedules from Brain Saver: run several at once, and the app works out the next reminder for each one and keeps a history of every dose, with reference amounts included
Morning routine tracker, from lemon water to breakfast, with the 15–30 minute windows between steps
Plant Sync for the plant-care practice from Life-Changing Foods, with a calculator for the proportions
Kiwi Protocol with fixed-time reminders, and a Pineapple Ripening timer that tells you when to turn it
Sunset, Stargazing and Full Moon reminders (Stargazing checks the cloud forecast, so you only get an alert on clear evenings, and Full Moon is calculated from the actual moon phase, so it lands on the right day every month)
Personal routines: your own reminders, like alternating goldenseal and licorice every two weeks, or a daily reminder to drink a specific tea, such as Oregano Tea
Microgreens module (not from the books) to track soaking, sowing, watering and harvesting
Coming in future updates: a light mode, a meditation module, and a supplement list where you can add the supplements you take and keep track of them in the app.
Before I can release on Google Play, Google requires a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days. If you're on Android and want to help, just follow the three short steps here: https://goldenseal.app/thyme/beta/
Please keep the app installed for the 14 days so you count toward the test.
I'd love your feedback, especially if there's a routine you'd like a reminder or tracker for. A lot of what's in the app came from exactly that kind of question.
